Season Two - Episode Four:

Spoiler
Seems like they are gathering them up for something big. The war is coming more and more to their own base and seemingly they would want people like the Eighty-Six to do more than they already are doing.

Seeing the group together again is really nice. Serving as they main force for the show keeping them apart for too long is not going to work in the shows benefit. At least not in my opinion. That one girl who is in charge of them is getting a little bit on my nerves throughout these episodes. She keeps talking about the fact that they are child soldiers and it's all so sad and blabla. I understand that you might feel that way and I would probably feel like that as well.

However, they've made their own decisions to be where they are now. That's what they want to do. It's not like they were forced like they were in the Republic. So stop talking about and bringing it up. We know their story, but we want to know the next chapter and not the previous one. Furthermore, Shin has been proving himself at predicting when The Legion would attack and how big the attack would be throughout both seasons of the show. They have more expertise than any of the people in that military. The one guy said it best, the military is filled with unlogical people. Because they are not listening to Shin in this one. They aren't trusting them enough for it to be really useful.

There was also a very personal conversation between Frederica & Shin. They've been getting closer and closer throughout the episodes. Maybe he's filling her in for Milize. I do wander when she going to become a factor. I hope soon, because I would love to see what she has been up to now. Love the focus the show has, but she seems to have been a bit forgotten. The characters have been talking about her, but I would love to just have them reunite. Questioning their own decisions and if they would like to continue on this path or not...Seems like there is a lot in store for them from here on out. The big battle is right around the corner.

Season Two - Episode Five:

Spoiler
This was one hell of an episode! I loved every single second of it. They are working towards a very big goal and they don't seem to be slowing down anytime soon. It seemed like there was someone ordering The Legion around. Not sure if it is this Kiri guy that they've been talking about, but he is making his presence known in the show.

It was an action packed episode. The action itself was very well animated and I was astounded by how long it took them and how much they gave us. As this show hasn't focused much on the action but more on the dialogue, so it really surprised me. They showed a lot and I do feel like something is not going right with Shin. He seems to become more and more like Kiri and his brother, whose name I have forgotten.

At the ending of the episode they seemed to confirm this as he got greeted by Kiri in his mind and something happened at their HQ. Cliffhangers...Love and hate them..

Season Two - Episode Six:

Spoiler
This was a really good episode. It really focused on Shin and his mental state as it is declining and declining as the show goes on. I really love the slow burn here as he is once again outed by the people around him. People like Frederica who see him becoming more and more like Kiri every single day.

The main point of this episode for me was really all about that one moment. We really good be fooled by thinking Shin was losing it just because everything became too much for him too handle. Fair enough, because it would be for like anyone ever. This time we learned why and how he acted the way that he did in the last episode. Drawings from the sister of the deceased. Ouch. Something like that should've never been send to someone else. Let alone the one who's taken all the burden from all of this.

I wonder how things are going to wrap up. Next week, we will not have an episode....So two weeks waiting to see how things are going to work out.

S1 was fun. But also confusing. It raised so much more questions.
I'll watch S2 when it aired.

Season Two - Episode Eight:

Spoiler
Since Episode 7 was a Visual Aid episode, I did not watch it. Usually don't really care for stuff like that and now was no different. I am all for a show like Eighty-Six taking their sweet time with the episodes if that means that it will keep delivering like it has the entire series. And it did just that with this latest episode of the season.

Keeping in mind that the show is focusing a lot of it's time on Shin & Frederica. I wonder sometimes if they are trying to set something up, but the other 4 don't get nearly as much time as they did in Season One to progress their characters. Maybe it just feels like that to me at this point. Don't get me wrong, I like Shin and the focus they give him, but there are other people in the series too.

This was another episode very heavy on dialogue and very aware of what they are setting up for the next episode. Which will be in two weeks time, again, a good thing. Take your time and keep delivering how you have been delivering people! Frederica & Shin's piece was really heart wrenching. Both making good points. I can understand the views of both of the characters and in my mind they both have very good understandings and motivations to act the way they do.

I wonder how this is going to play out. I think there will be one massive outing at the end of the season. I just can't really place what it is going to be, but that ending with the face of Shin. It's happening again soon....

So I actually wrote these. Might as well post them. The same can’t be said for most other episodes/series.
episode 15
Okay so I watched this a bit ago and am trying to remember it all but… there was definitely some great stuff. Like Milize deciding to try and take a stand with the 86 to protect the place in spite of everything and her uncle actually coming thru for her. Shinei is really going through it too. There’s clearly going to end up being done intersection again. Methinks.

episode 16
oh it’s hitting the fan now. His ability has been found out now that he’s pretty much broadcast it that last attack. The Republic is going to throw them away. I was right about their leader, she is being condescending towards them. Wait, has the major managed to survive? Also, does everyone but Shin know that he loves her? That’s kind of tragic. Guess we’ll see where this goes. I’m not particularly interested in watching this commentary episode though. Maybe later.

episodes 17-8
These were about as powerful as you’d expect. The country made the decision, folx got pissed off but at least miss goody two shoes realized she was being a patronizing POS and owned up to it. Decided to treat them like autonomous people and not objects of pity to be saved. Frederica had her hissy fit but that couldn’t really be helped. I do wonder what the letter really said from Eugene’s sister though. Also, Ernst was a [email protected] saying they needed to come back alive first priority or he’d destroy everything. Just saying.

Season Two - Episode Nine:

Spoiler
Yeah, this was another great Episode. Worth the waiting, I have to say it. Feeling like it was well worth the two weeks waiting for it. It's incredible.

And then the show itself. Have to say that I liked it. Usually the format of the episode is the other way around and it begins soft and slow and it's with the combat and hardship, this time it went the other way around and we got to see the fighting from the start of the episode. The fighting itself was very well done yet again and Shin losing himself more and more to the voices in his head is mesmerizing to watch. You're literally waiting for him to fall into the bottomless pit that is his own head.

Him vs the one in the Morpho tho, that was awesome. I enjoyed every second of it even if I don't fully grasp what is happening right now. Got to be honest, I don't. But what I do know is that I love it. I really, really love it. Frederica coming in and having some say in the matter is kind off frustrating. I do have a feeling this isn't the last we're going to see of her in this portion of the season.

To say the least this is the best show going right now.
