The Losers 7/10 Irreverent, star, humor, action and meme fodder filled film for your entertainment. It kind of tries to have a deeper story but when all else fails: Idris Elba. ^_^

Big Fish and Begonia8/10
Stunning art. Beautifully touching story. Music that matches. Hidden treasure

Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings: 9.5/10

really really good film, probably top 5 as far as marvel films go. fights were very well written, the lead characters were very relatable and it the jokes all landed. but more than that, it was probably the most emotional MCU film. had me wanting to cry 5 minutes in, and i was genuinely on the verge of tears for the whole final quarter. it just resonates in a way that superhero films normally don’t and i think that’s because it picks a small handful of ideas to explore, and brings them to their fullest potential. it’s hard not to relate with, asian or non-asian

loses points because the shang chi outfit was kinda sucky, tho

Halloween Kills (2021) - 8.5/10

I heard this film wasn't that good and it took me a few watches of Halloween (2018) to enjoy it, but this was a really good film! Being a big Halloween/Michael Myers fan, I was excited to watch it.
Without spoiling it, my only complaint is some of the kills shouldn't have happened. For example: Person A is getting killed while Person B just stands by instead of you know, run away? Then Person B gets killed.. That happened like 3 or 4 times and it was annoying, but there were so many kills in this film that it makes up for it. Gruesome ones too.
If you're a Halloween/Michael Myers fan, I highly recommend a watch!

Last film I watched was Halloween Kills! Was pretty good tbh but had me screaming at the screen sometimes, questioning alot of people being dumb in horror movies pahaha!

I give it a 7/10 would say its fair for what it was hope the third is much higher though.

Father Christmas is Back.
I'd probably rate is 1/10, maybe 2/10 if I'm generous.
Now there's a lot of "crappy" Christmas movies on Netflix but at least you can make fun of a lot of them and get some kind of enjoyment out of them but this one...this movie was just bad. Poorly directed and not the best acting either (even though some of the actors don't seem like bad ones but are bad in this movie). The story just seems pretty random at points and feels like it was put together by a child lol. And some scenes in the movie were just waaaay to cringe to handle. Overall it just seems like a movie that could have been a bit better but ended up being terrible.

The Saints of Newark

9/10

This prequel of the classic TV series ‘The Sopranos’ shows us Tony Sopranos youth and focuses mostly on one of his uncles, who tries to keep Tony in criminality. A bittersweet film with GREAT cinematography, direction, acting and music. I didn’t have any knowledge about the series beforehand and the movie was still satisfying to watch. I understood just about everything, aside from some subtle references to ‘the future’; to the TV series itself. I can’t give it a perfect score because of this fact, but it is an amazing film and definitely worth your time.

Fun fact: the young Tony Soprano is played by the actual Tony Soprano actor’s son!

Me and my boyfriend both gave it the same rating xD A lot of the acting just felt so forced and unnatural imo. Some people probably liked the movie but we definitely didn't. Maybe there's people who think the humor in the movie is funny but I thought it was bad and not funny at all. For example there were some comedic scenes that didn't make any sense as all amd were so unrealistic that it takes the fun away from it. And I still feel traumatized thinking of some of the cringe scenes :azusad: :pikajoy:

Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings: 7/10

Decent movie, but I was onfused about where this movie took place in the Marvel Universe.
I think it after end Game, and at the end he got introduced to some avengers.

I liked the plot and storyline and this is their way of introducing new characters and expanding the universe.

All Hail Brooke.
