So reading the badminton match, it looks like the story is staying more focused on romance elements than the sporting side? Maybe a potential anime adaptation would expand on the sports scenes, but at the moment this seems very romance first.

Not sure how I feel that Taiki’s friend told Chinatsu to take him out “if he won” because I’d rather see them go out when they ask each other, but hopefully that gets addressed on the course of their date.

Also are these two too shy to knock on each other’s doors? Lol

They seemed to be treating it like a real date yet still hiding that they’re living together. At least that’s why I think they didn’t coordinate the morning of—from their house.

ah that makes sense

Chapter 14

This was a really cute date. I think it captures where they are relationship-wise perfectly, and it gives them a BIG next step to getting closer. I’m rooting for them

chapter 14
The preciousness. So much cuteness, kind of awkward moments, stressing out, adorable animal things, good communication, steps to allow for future communication and even mementos for later. I’m happy with it. When do we get to see her play basketball?

chapter 15
So the childhood friend is crushing stupid hard and trying not to show it. She failed. Her comments to Chiatsu were more oneupsmanship than wingman. She gave herself away big time. And then, dun dun duuuuunnn….. she discovered them at the same house. Oh no!

chapter 16
Oh my. This is spiraling in a bad direction. I really don’t like what’s happening with Hina. She’s not really clear on her feelings but has always put on a strong face/needed to be bold and dependable so she’s never been able to be supported. All of this new input about Chinatsu is overloading her. She’s having issues focusing and compartmentalizing which is going to lead to her crashing. I hope she’s able to sort things out before it gets that bad.

I forgot to post after chapter 15 lol

15 and 16
So it’s the girl best friend who’s the first to learn about Chinatsu and Taiki living together… do I smell a love triangle? Survey says probably.

And as I read Chapter 16, I see the love triangle has been established. Lovely.

I’m interested to see what they do with this, though? Since Taiki and Chinatsu seem to be locked as a pairing already, it’s going to be hard for Hina to work her way in, I think.

I feel like Taiki is sensitive (though oblivious) enough that if he realizes how hard Hina is fighting and how rough she has it (plus how she’s been there for him all along) that he’s going to be supportive of her in her time of need which will lead to confusion. I think that Chinatsu probably realizes Hina’s feelings and has gotten the wrong impression from the stories she’s told. So there’s room for sure to cause confusion.

chapter 17
And it sucks being right. The pressure started to get to Hina and she was messing up plus distancing herself from Taiki. An injury to boot? I hope it turns out alright. She’s realizing her situation. What is that going to change now?

chapter 18
Hina really let it all out. Taiki is so oblivious but such a good friend. Though fir a second there he wasn’t totally immune. Chiaki is interested and conflicted but standing her ground while making excuses. Total love triangle. It’s getting messy. I hope the sports are more successful.
