YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! Thank goodness for Dr. Stone's break neck speed of pacing!

This brings up a new question about Why-man that he has to be "unskilled" with precision/the skill levels of a craftsman. In theory, a machine should be able to make microscopic things with precision (we have nanotechnology), but he cannot make the tiny fissures with precision despite futuristic technology. It might not be the whole world, but the one medusa does have to get roughly half the world. It's hard to see and we only get confirmation in the anime, but I'm pretty sure South America is the focal point of the panel of the petri-beam going around the world and it is about 1/4th of the way around the world within that short time.

I'm glad to see various "support" members get a chance to shine. Ukyou has his ears to hear and find the enemies even if they took a nonlinear route. Francois analyzes the situation correctly, and Ginrou is finally breaking through his fears through the help of Matsukaze. PLUS, Suika! I did not expect her to be the savior...and especially since it took the sacrifice of her glasses...she won't be able to see.

But this could be huge because we might get a chapter or two with the side story of "Suika's adventures to revive everyone!" I would kinda like a kiddy story side tangent after so much doom and gloom. The problem is where is the "remaining revival fluid" that Xeno and Stan seem to see?! Stan is stopped by the science team (plus their manual labor support member of Gen). And this is the biggest point because maybe Suika doesn't find it since she might naturally avoid the scary enemies instinctually (without her glasses).

But the biggest answer of the shockwave cannon being the answer is so typical of Dr. Stone. Simple, but fits perfectly.

IF, and big if, there is no other bottle of revival fluid...Suika cannot make it on her own. Great plot development to state that there is some somewhere but never show it to us. The climax has hit, but I think I'm even more curious about how in the world Suika is going to pull this off now.

And this might not even be the best part...since this is pretty long already I think the Why-man stuff should be discussed in the long-term theories section: topic1231.html

First One Piece, now Dr. STONE delivering intense chapters. I might have to try get my hands on a copy of this week’s Jump...

So I guess we’re getting a small timeskip between now and 193? How much of the stuff that’s been built over the course of the story will need to be rebuilt?

Very excited to see where this goes!

Man I feel sorry for anyone other groups that got revived and were trying to live their lives only to get petrified again without warning. Wonder if Senku and the gang will run into such a group...

Yes, super rare to have two flagship series have breakthrough/monumental chapters in the same volume!

Senku/the manga team gave us the answer with thunder being what revives Suika. So at worst it is only one year since the device catches sound so well (even small stuff should amplify enough to break the bottle).

So hopefully this is where Joel's diamond is good enough to cover South America but runs out of juice so it does not cover the entire world. We probably will not be shown a panel in the next chapter of where/how much this medusa attack covers. But yea...that would suck to be petrified a second time and without any insight on who/what/when/where/why/how. Only Senku and Xeno could count the entire time so chances are any other groups have no idea what year it is. Knowledge makes it acceptable, which is why all the allies are fine being petrified again. But definitely the exact opposite for anyone else across the world.
