Umm...I was doing that because of how I've mistaken Takoboto for Takaboto all this time .... and I did look up boto but only found dolphins O.O
Ah, let's keep it at "dolphins". Especially since I'm forgetting what language it originates from. Dolphins probably eat tako.

I try to learn basics of Japanese language at Nihongomaster and through some books focusing on learning the language quite some time now. On Nihongomaster is a dictionary, also kanji search, tho I can't say I use it very often, it's kinda hard for me to break through kanji barrier, somehow learning how to actually learn, look up and interpret each character through radicals and common similarity among them and such, very hard indeed, self-studing it I mean, probably need some strick sensei to somehow succesfully speak, read and write Japanese. :pizza:

Hahaha...yea that's exactly what it is. Redundant, redundant, repetition, over and over again. Seeing it enough allows for recognition, but it's still a "shallow" memory/recall/proficiency ability.

Stroke order and count is super important because it is the break down of the radical.

It's gonna be still a lot of hard work, but as long as the person enjoys it, the drive won't die so easily :3

Yup, exactly! But being able to read raws is a huge plus since there are so many series with quite a bit not getting translated anywhere.
