One Piece Episode 933
Gyukimaru! Zoro Fights a Duel on Bandit's Bridge!
Back to the blind Oda faith (until the next B.S. of course).
It’s been doing that for a while, since it came back at least. It flashes red then black.
I was just talking about the animation of it turning black as I described it.
I didn't like this new addition because it made me think the bat-guy had haoshoku (which he should not). They are creating visualizations for haki clashes of all types, which overlaps too much since it was only shown for haoshoku. Maybe this is the glitch and it was mistakenly added for the bat-guy, but we'll just have to wait and see.
I think we are talking about the red and blue flashes after contact is made. It is smaller than the Kaidou vs. Luffy parts, but the exact same effect is being shown.
Overall excellent episode with the anime doing a great job of filling in the gaps Oda is now purposefully adding.WeebyWitch wrote: ↑Mon Jul 20, 2020 8:20 pmSo I enjoyed this one—no surprise there. Getting the Rayleigh stuff I wanted though hopefully there will be more of it. And Hyo looks pretty intrigued by Luffy’s activities and Luffy himself so that’s fun for sure. If I’m not mistaken, he perked up when Rayleigh was mentioned—curioser and curioser. But add to that some good old fashioned Zoro action and I’m sold. Watching him go from being menacing to exasperated to perplexed to heroic to badass scoundrel and exasperated badass was so much fun.
Don’t get me started on the whole interplay with Tama, Chopper and O-Lin. Priceless.
I’ll doublecheck but I know that having bangs and your hair down, versus having your hair pulled up makes your face look different. Also having a head covering wrapped around her. Plus I think she was missing her extravagant Oiran makeup. So it could be a reflection of all that.

The color of the base form haki was still black while fighting. It was only the intermission scene where the color was changed.
When Luffy and Batman first fought, I was disappointed when an angry Luffy couldn’t punch through a subordinate’s haki guard. So, after training with sea stone cuffs and becoming stronger, I saw the explosive haki collision as one sided and showing Luffy’s growth to overpower Batman now. Didn’t make me think Conqueror’s at all.
