Void Century Club - [One Piece - Anime - Manga - Games - Community]

Hi,

I was not on One Piece forum for a very long time and suddenly the page wasn't there anymore when I finally decided to make a comeback. Can anyone please fill me in the details?

Anyway, I use Polybotes as my handle (on multiple sites) and there might be a few of you to whom the name rings a bell. Joined the OPF on the same day 5 years back, on May 4th. Had to wait a few days so I could do the same here as well :D (Star Wars fans will get it ;) ) It was worth it!

Like all of us here, I love and adore One Piece. Zoro is my fav character. Boa Hancock, Brook, and Frankie are also appealing because of their respective backstories. I'm spending my lockdown at home, all alone, playing AAAs and EPGs apart from watching animes. The recent up and coming anime that I liked was Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken and hence I'm eagerly awaiting it's second season. World building animes can turn out to awesome if they have a firm base with it's own set of rules, is what I believe.

Welcome to the Club, Poly! It's great you could get your old name back, but then again not that many names are taken yet

I guess the story is that OPF started to get more and more server errors which Owl said he would fix. But eventually we couldn't reach him anymore and I'm not sure whether he still paid or not either. Then after the forum was down for quite a while [mention]riofriz[/mention] suggested creating a new forum with the current admin team which are riofriz, [mention]Marco Polo[/mention], [mention]Chaud[/mention] and me. And here we are now, with our brand new forum that became a home to a lot of OPF people

Thanks for the details. Hope Owl san is doing okay amid this pandemic. Going AWOL every once in a while wasn't new to him but I feel he won't go off the grid for this long, till the site starts smoking and left in tatters.

Thank you all those involved for putting the hardwork to get this forum running. Voidcentury sounds so cool, like it means serious business. As the series is it's end game, the name was an apt choice. And not just the name, you guys must have spent hours thinking things through so that this site could take shape. For all that and much more, we all are truly grateful. :)

You are right. Polybotes is not a name most of us will be gunning for and it's a fresh start for the comm, but you never know right?
