One Piece Headcanons

Headcanons are things that aren't exactly confirmed to be canon, but are part of one's personal interpretation. If you have any headcanons about One Piece, feel free to reply! (Or you can just react to other headcanons you see) My headcanons: -Rosinante was the one that convinced Sengoku to get the goat (when he was younger). -The only thing stopping Sanji from vaping is the fact that vapes don't exist in One Piece.

Hmmm I'm not sure if this fits but I have a problem with the respect characters like Crocodile and Ace don't receive. It seems to me Crocy SHOULD essentially be Doflamingo level or close. But since he was introduced so early he's essentially viewed by some as fodder compared to current Luffy and others. Same goes for Ace. If we're being honest him and Whitebeard get hosed by haki not being around at the time and characters being potrayed differently or better. Ace for all intents and purposes is ROGERS SON and should be a powerhouse. Frankly he's a second commander similar to Queen, Smoothie, and shouldn't be far below Admirals. Hell, he was mid-diffing Blackbeards crew before the bullshit black hole power. Frankly, Ace had the opposite of plot armor and wasn't given enough time to shine before his death. My other head canon is Jinbe should be, currently, the next strongest behind Luffy. Maybe Zoro passes him with a new sword(s). Sanji with raid suit should be much closer to that group as well. Lastly, and Oda doesn't help me here. With Nico Robin's Devil Fruit, her intelligence, training with Dragon, and experience she shouldn't be far behind the weakest of the monster trio. It would be nice to see her start rivaling characters like Persopero or even a Flying 6. Oh one more. Law has a broken devil fruit and should be the strongest supernova if he weren't constantly nerfed.

Croc is implied to be powering up, so I'm excited to see him fight in the series again. If we are only looking at the ability to defeat any enemy, Jinbei's Gyojin Karate gives him a huge advantage to damage giants. Styles make the fight, and Jinbei has something more universally damaging than a blade (not much else is in One Piece). Kinda agree...kinda don't agree as a Zoro fan (super biased though). I believe Franky didn't design the living quarters particularly well because he's a cyborg and it's easier for him to just sit on the floor and enter sleep mode lol.

Yup probably on purpose that there's not a lot of beds. Zoro seems content sleeping sitting up a lot of the time. Plus, the guys are the main ones switching on guard duty too. So yea...have we seen Franky sleeping in his upgraded BF-37 (or whatever number it is now)?

One of mine is that Law is so attached to/puts up with Luffy because he reminds him of Rosinante so he can’t seem to begrudge him anything and his hardass shell that he’s built up over the years is useless with Luffy because inside it is just the soft boiled egg of a vulnerable little boy that he became when he lost him. So he’s simultaneously terrified of getting close to and losing Luffy in his life. Like he initially planned to use him but all his plans went straight to hell once he met him for real and had to deal with the flashbacks to Cora. So now it’s like a catch-22 with him feeling like he’s going to lose if he uses him or doesn’t. That’s compounded by a bit of suspension bridge effect from Dressrosa where he was saved by him in the midst of dealing with his traumatic past. He wants to get revenge on the WG for what they did to his country, he’s not too particular about helping people along the way because he feels like the entire world turned against them and left them to die while profiting from the thing that killed them. He doesn’t have faith in people in general but Luffy’s different so... he’s torn and this struggle just might be the death of him. That’s my thoughts :

And probably the best part, Law is too stuck up when it comes to his emotions that we'll never know. Or at least Law will never say it out loud (we might get something where he says it as a thought).

Which reminds me that I need to read the second part of Ace’s. I bought it a while ago.

Hopefully Law's novel is the same. I'll probably have to look into Law's one because he has more juicy info to reveal.
