Uzaki is adorable. Her character is like a buxom pixie style and I genuinely can’t tell if she’s oblivious or intentional so it’s fun. Like her senpai, I wanna know what made her change her personality so much. Was she a loner and is projecting? Is that what happened after he graduated or just her normal life? Like I can’t tell and am so curious.

Ohhh Uzaki is soo adorable!! I laughed so hard in this episode. The café owner is the perfect addition to the dynamic. Seeing him try not to laugh at their antics really highlights the perspective of the audience. It’s cute how the two of them are getting closer and closer inadvertently. Uzaki is innocent in a way and senpai is a hornball who tries not to get caught in compromising situations but ends up there anyways lol. Good stuff.

Wow, the whole café staff/family definitely has the same traits. That’s amusing as hell. And poor Uzaki-chan dealing with the name thing. That was rough. However, it was really clear how thrilled she was by the fact that she was feeding him considering that she normally eats all the food herself! He’s definitely super conscious of her status as a girl though. Very interesting, that fact alone was enough to make her not push the name issue once it was spelled out. Wonder if they’ll officially get together before the season ends or if it’ll end vaguely. They’re obviously destined for it.

Aww things are actually progressing for them—that’s so cute! It looks like he can catch a clue and she can make actual moves. Good stuff. And Ami is giving good advice as well. Those scenes in the eyeglass store had me in stitches though. Holy crap. Also, I’m with his boss on the amazement at shutting down like that. I mean, having done something similar, it’s not quite that instant.

Ack! Sakaki is super pushy and that just made things awkward. Check her out defending their relationship vehemently lol. Almost as vehemently as Uzaki-chan defending mint chocolate lmao. That tirade was awesome. And it ended with a cute awareness of an indirect kiss. I guess progress can be made on both of their parts.

Yeah so not looking at Funimation kinda made me miss a few weeks here. But I did catch up... The beach! Of course they had to have a swimsuit episode with Uzaki-chan and those knockers. Just saying lol. But whoa did it go crazy. She totally screwed with him over that watermelon—game commands?! That’s brutal. And perfect opportunity for the jellyfish to come back into play—how could his dense self believe it was the watermelon?!! Like how inexperienced is he?!! But that test of courage was brutal. Poor guy. At least they got some good snuggles out of it. That was precious. The two friends are extra cute. When are they getting together? She turned 20! But seriously that misleading beginning of the episode though... he had no clue what was coming out of his mouth he was so focused on the cats. That entire café experience was the best. The poor staff—if you’re gonna do play like that, save it for home LMAO. Then him stressing over her birthday gift only to find out just how misleading that phrasing was but make ZERO connection to his own phrasing earlier. Priceless. Oh the drinking experience. They were so much fun together. But then the trauma came. Poor Hana-chan she was so mortified and the discussion at campus made things worse—neither of them can say things properly. What must people think of them?! Ruined. Just Ruined. Luckily they’ve got the café staff looking after them and poor Sak the 2nd trying to jump into the sea so he doesn’t miss anything lol. But the insight into their past was awesome. I love that Sak got too into the compliments and let his real feelings slip out there. They got so much closer at the end. I have hopes after all. The natural way they went from let’s do something later this summer to what are you doing tomorrow-I’ll join you to yes, what will we do tomorrow? It warms my heart. 🥰

I keep hearing about this show lately and people seem to like it but Uzaki's design is just so off putting :/ Who decided to put the face of a little boy on a big boobed girl? I really hope people like her for her character.

I really hope people like her for her character. The face of a little boy? I mean if you say so. She looks like a girl even in her face to me. I’ve seen tons of girls with that wide-eyed pixie cut look. And yes, it’s totally her character/personality that makes her who she is though I do like her design because she’s got big boobs, is short and doesn’t really have hips/butt which is my body type and I used to love my super short boy cut hairstyles so I can relate to this design a lot. : As for the episodes I’ve missed recently, Uzaki’s mom is really funny and misunderstanding all the things, poor woman. Ami is determined to improve the café ratings using the Sakurai/Uzaki combo and that little kid was precious as hell. Though it seems she might’ve been used as part of a larger plot? Apparently that ticket and the winning ball weren’t chance after all of those shadows are to be believed. It looked like it might’ve been Ami and someone else, probably blonde bear? But who knows. She’s supposed to be hands off. I was right!! It was Ami and the other Sak who were the shadows!! They came pulling up in the car all creepy like. Yeah like that couple wasn’t a dead giveaway as to the nature of the town? It’s all good though. There were some good times and I like that Sakurai flashed on those memories so was conflicted. That fortune Uzaki got was rather perfect though. Does that mean he likes her more than she does him? Interesting indeed. The Youkai trail looks amazing. Who was that at the end though?!

Whoa this episode ended like WTF?! Why is she crying saying that?! What’s going on?! Everything up to that point was so adorably fun. They’ve been getting closer and comfortable—why now?! My heart.

So Hana really had me going just like senpai. I don’t know how I feel about that lol. And, we finally saw what she’d look like as a boy in the form of her little brother, Kiri. sweetjacky negatibuhige There’s a difference. Moving on, the whole drinking thing was adorbs as was the fact that she didn’t realize her accent/speech mannerisms changed and that she didn’t want Ami around because she got too touchy feely with Sakurai. I think there’s gonna be a second season and I’m down for it!
