Synopsis:
Fuko is on the verge of committing suicide until an Undead, Andy, steps in to save her. By simply touching Fuko, Andy ends up with the bad luck and ends up the one getting hit by the oncoming train. With his immortal body and growing tired of living for over 200 years, Andy sees the potential to finally die and forcefully wants to experiment on the logistics of Fuko's "Unluck" powers.
Skipping over the ecchi introductory chapters, the action immediately picks up because both Andy and Fuko become targets of assassins who also have their own unique superhuman abilities. Surprisingly, one of their hunters is willing to tell them that if they can manage to kill two assassins, it would give them the opportunity to join the secret organization.
After several battles with creative manipulation of their abilities, Andy and Fuko achieve access into the "Union". They learn how the Union missions to keep Unidentified Mysterious Animals (UMA; pronounced yuma) from keeping havoc is actually protecting the world from the strongest UMA from manifesting and destroying the Earth. With his shoot first, ask questions later mindset, Andy immediately takes on the hardest missions, dragging Fuko along for all the chaos!
My personal tidbit: I started reading the series because the fight scenes caught my eye when I browse through the WSJ. The twists and creativity of the fights are unique and something I haven't seen in any other manga.
(Source: me, because the online one's sucked since they are only based on the first few chapters)
