It is finally time to announce the winners of The Monthly PAW: June 2020! This month was really fun to host because I got so many submissions. : The Winners: Photography - Close Up Photography Winner: Twelve (20 paws) 2nd Place: Christina Choi (15 paws) 3rd Place: Rohan (11 paws) Art - Heroes Winner: Twelve (18 paws) 2nd Place: sweetjacky (15 paws) 3rd Place: Christina Choi (14 paws) Writing - Happiness Winner: WeebyWitch (23 paws) My light in the darkness I was hurting, betrayed Attacked and confused In my vulnerable state I lay Feeling weak like prey No longer strong and bold Replaying words I’d been told Anger & pain swirled Robbing my sleep At this time I couldn’t see The messages awaiting me The kindness & the hope The right kind of rope Thrown by a helping hand Full of gentle demand That I open my eyes Take the time to see That there are friends Here waiting for me Such a simple thing Yet so monumental To have a home Makes me sentimental A manga, an anime That was the start But from there things grew Now this place, these people You’ve all got my heart So for reaching out When I needed it most There’s not enough thanks The war in my heart Was ended as if you were Shanks The joy that I feel when I think of this community Is something for which I have no immunity So for those who’ve been there When times times get blue For all the happiness you’ve shared Much love from me to you. 2nd Place: GoldenVenus & Callais (19 paws each) 3rd Place: Nikamara (6 paws) Congratulations to all the winners! For the people who didn't win anything, I'm still happy you participated and wish you better luck next time : I also want to add that some of the people who didn't make it were really close point wise. It is time to hand out the flairs and I will also transfer the VCCash directly to your vaults so it won't get stolen. Thanks and congratulations to all voters and participants. Let’s keep up the level of excellence for the next PAW as well. ^_^ riofriz the Hiro one was really nifty. I liked the puniness of it plus I enjoyed that character as well as the aesthetics. Don’t knock your art. I’m touched that you guys enjoyed my poem, it was truly personal and emotional. It just came out when it did because that’s how life happens.
