It’s good to have the anime back! A fun episode to come back on as well, some good Luffy fight scenes and some funny side plots. I enjoyed Raizo vs the crab guy, and oh MAN is Queen’s intro brilliant. What a funky guy

Finally, the anime is back after so long! The moment with Raizo stealing the keys was a nice touch to the episode, although the Crab-guy was too damn annoying, just shut up! Queen looking as funk as it gets, nice introduction, we knew already that he's a very fun and funny character. I didn't expect Babanuki to be this colorful though, nice touch. Not a great episode, a bit slow, but still okay.

Almost a perfect break with the action picking up! I ended up watching the whole episode since it's been so long. Maybe because it was a prolonged break, but the artwork was a higher level than normal for the not so important conversations. The crab-Gifter was annoying to build up the "kani" pun at the very end (super strong Japanese audience bias) Deathbloke. The voice doesn't help, but it matches the idiocy of not knowing the number of total keys. I was hoping for a bigger fight to get the keys, but it was definitely a great addition. Oh man, I'm really biased to think Queen is going to play a role in the main plot after the series. They went all out for his introduction (high quality animation for his dance scene). The custom composition means he gets it as his theme song, which is rare for characters outside of the Mugiwaras. I don't remember Queen having that many double chins in the manga, but it was exciting to see. I'm liking him more already.

This was a fun episode. I really liked the interactions between Hyo and Luffy—they’re playing them up and stretching out the build up of their relationship/history for sure. Having him give that speech is influencing the rest of the prisoners—you can see it. Also is that logo on the back of Queen’s chair/chariot thing his personal Jolly Roger? Why does the monkey have six arms and horns? She was not amused with the crab guy. That pun just kept on going. But yeah, I didn’t expect Queen to be blonde. That was a shocker. I loved the expressions he made. I wonder what kind of reaction we’ll get when he finds out about Komorasaki. I’m glad they didn’t end the episode without actually giving us some real Queen scenes instead of just having him roll up to the prison.

I don't know the monkey thing...I do know it is kinda similar to the spider monkey in Thriller Bark and there is a named vice-admiral with a similar fruit ability/weird body too. Maybe Oda just running with the literal aspect of "spider" and "monkey"?

The tattoo is definitely either some sort of weird fusion deal or his actual one within the organization. After all, it has his name on it. If you zoom in, you can see it. Rewatching some episodes with the honey and you can see it even better in episode 918.
