You do not visit your target, so you are safe from rampaging attacks and will not be seen by the lookout.
All players who visit your target will be notified their action failed (with the exception of Pestilence who will still kill the jailed target)
You will not be notified of any visits to your target
Your target will be notified if someone tries to attack, role block, control or transport them.
If you do not choose to execute a serial killer or werewolf (on a full moon) will attack you, a bodyguard can protect you from these attacks.
If you are killed by a serial kill you will get the message "You were killed by the Serial killer you jailed"
You can not kill pestilence if you jail them and they will kill you. You will get the message: "You jailed Pestilence and were obliterated. Flummery!".
If you or your target is seance by a medium, you/they will be able to talk to both roles.
Jailed Vampire Hunters can still hear vampires and a jail medium can still hear the dead but will not be able to send them messages.
Coven, Vampires and Mafia members can still read their teams conversations but are not allowed to talk in the coversations.
You can not execute on the first night
If you choose to execute your target they will be informed and you can continue to talk to each other
After choosing to execute you can decide not to.
Being roleblocked will stop you from executing your target but you are still able to talk to them
If you are witched or controlled to other than someone you have jailed you will not be able to execute
If you are controlled to your target you will execute them even if you did not chose to do so. You can not be controlled to execute on the first night.
If you choose to execute your target and that target is a town member you will not be allowed to execute again during the game, you will be able to still jail players.
A guardian angel can stop your execution if they protect their target, you will lose an execution.

You can target yourself once and use a vest. It will grant you a basic defense. You will not counter your attackers.
If you are transported when you attempt to use your vest you will instead protect the person you were transported with.
You can not be forced to use your vest, even if you are controlled.
If you successfully protect yourself, you will get the message "You were attacked but your bulletproof vest saved you"
You can only protect your target from one attack each night, and you will only counter one attacker. So if more than one attacker attacks your target they will still die.
If you successfully protect your target an counter their attacker you will die, however, a doctor can heal you.
You will not counter an Arsonist, Pestilence, or a Pirate who won their duel.
If you counter a Necromancer's ghoul attacking your target you will not die. The Necromancer will get notified that a bodyguard counter their ghoul but the Necromancer will not die.
You can not counter a coven leader who doesn't have necronomicon yet.
Jailors execution, Veteran attacks, town protectives and Hex Master's will not be countered by you.
If you protect a roleblocker who has blocked a serial killer or werewolf, you will protect your target and kill their attacker.
If more than one bodyguard guards the same person and their target is attacked multiple times, they will counter different targets.
A bodyguard can not prevent another bodyguard from dying because of them countering their target's attacker.
If you counter a werewolf you will only prevent your target from dying, any other visitors will still die including yourself and the Werewolf.
You can not prevent an arsonist from dousing.

You can not prevent your target from dying from a Poisoner who has Necronomicon.
You can heal a bodyguard from countering.
You can protect someone from a werewolf attack but you will die.
Attackers do not receive a message when you heal your target
You can heal poisoned people and heal yourself from poison as long as the poisoner does not have necronomicon.
You can not stop an arsonist douse or ignite.
You can not protect against the hex master's final hex but you can protect against a hex master's attack when they have necronomicon but the victim will still be hexed.
You can not protect against suicide
You can not protect against a Jester's haunt
You can not heal a revealed Mayor.
You will only receive one notification of protecting your target no matter how many times your target was attacked.
Your target will receive a message if you protected them, they will not receive multiple messages if more than one doctor healed them.
If you protect your target from multiple attackers they will get a message from each attack they received.
You will still receive a message that your target was attacked even if a bodyguard protects them, your target will not get a message that you protected them in this case unless they had multiple attackers that night.
You can heal role blockers who role blocked a serial killer or werewolf.
If you heal someone who has a defense you will still get a message you healed them, their attacker will still get the message that their target's defense was too high.

If there are other mediums in the game you will not get the messages they write but you will get the messages from the dead to them.
If two dead mediums seance the same person the two mediums will hear each other.
You choose to use your seance during the day phase, and during the night you can send messages through your role PM to that person and they can send them to you through theirs.
If you seance people who are part of night chats they will be able to talk to you and talk in their normal chats.
If jailed you will still hear the dead but you will be unable to speak to them.

A message will show at the start of the day phase if you successfully revive your target.
Your target will be revived in the same state they left the game. If they were doused, hexed or plagued they will still be when they are brought back. If they had a limited use ability they will not be restored.

You can't be controlled
You can't be role blocked.
You can not switch a person with themselves by selecting them twice.
If two transporters select the same person, the first to send in their action goes first.
You cannot transport yourself away from a pirate duel but you can transport yourself with someone you know will be protected to protect yourself.
You can not change a Spy's target once the bug has been placed, a bug sticks to the original target.
Your transport will fail on a jailed target, the target will be notified of the failed transport attempt.
The message "You have been transported" will be sent to both of your targets. Their visitors will not know their targets were transported.
A Jester's haunt will hit their intended target regardless if they were transported.
You can cause bodyguards/survivors to use their vests and an arsonist to ignite.
If your target doesn't have a self visit ability they will use their action on themselves such as attacks, invests, role blocks.
If a survivor uses their vest the night you transport them, they will still be transported but they will also still use their vest.
You will still transport a Veteran on alert, but they will still be on alert and you will die.
You can not transport a Vigilante away from their suicide even though the transport will still go through.

The night after you built your trap you can place it at a player's house.
You can choose to remove your trap, you will have to wait another night while you build another one to place it again.
You will have to rebuild your trap after it is triggered.
If anyone visits your target all roles that visited will be revealed to you but you will not learn the players who visited.
You grand your target a powerful defense, if someone attacks your target you will deliver a powerful attack to one of their attackers.
You can be role blocked from building your trap even though you don't send in an action. You can will also be role blocked from setting your trap.
How you are Investigated:
