Hey everyone! Help us make a big decision!
Whilst VCC is primarily a One Piece forum, both in terms of the content posted and the branding, we are aware that our members are fans of other popular series. With that in mind (and with us being happy that this will be a worthwhile addition), we’ve decided to pick two (2) popular manga/manhwa series to feature. But which ones? That’s up to you guys to decide. We’ve got a provisional poll listing with four series we’ve come up with, but we are more than open to suggestions (and will add suggestions that get enough backing to the poll)
So here’s the current shortlist:
Dragonball - one of the OG shonen series. Often one of the series that introduces you to anime, new content is still being released to this day in the form of the Dragonball Super manga. It’s got a very vocal and active internet fanbase too, with projects like Dragonball Z Abridged being one of the standout anime fan projects online.
Dr STONE - A somewhat newer series whose mainstream popularity has grown over the past twelve months thanks to the anime adaptation. Definitely one we could be talking about for years to come.
My Hero Academia - A series with a massive online following, that has brought a whole new generation into the world of anime. A series that’s produced several iconic moments, and at its best, competes and sometimes even outshines its shonen predecessors.
Tower of God - the black sheep of the pack. A popular, up and coming manhwa, it’s reaching a whole new audience thanks to its recently released anime adaptation. Could it be the next big thing?
Anyway that’s the list. We’ll leave this poll up for a few weeks and the two series that get the most votes will get their own subforum!
PS - don’t worry if the series you vote for doesn’t win this time. We’ll be keeping an eye out on activity levels and such, and rotating which series get featured.
