Looking at this trailer, they've animated quite a lot of the manga (tabout 35 chapters worth of content is teased here). Obviously the end of the manga is closer than I thought, so I'm guessing they've animated more than they'd release in one cour.
If they've delayed it from Fall 2020 then it'll probably come out Winter '21?
Well not saying anything isn’t confirming a delay and last news was that it’s Fall 2020. So we’ll have to see if the first cours comes out on time or not. They could always stick to the original release for the first half based on what you’re seeing and then do the second later. There’s definitely room on the schedule for it since other shows have been delayed like Reincarnated as a Slime, etc.
Not being a manga follower, I didn’t realize the preview showed that much information vis-a-vis content. So the additional explication is beneficial. ^_^ For me, based on what I could see and understand, it’s like oh the state of the world hangs in the balance, and Eren Jaeger is the man we’re turning to ( plus some one was told to shut up at some point)? So this context is definitely appreciated lol.
That timeline sounds reasonable if they don’t stick to the original schedule.
