Those Shadowy Figures In The Florian Triangle

I'm rewatching One Piece right now and at the end of Thriller Bark, what seemed to be foreshadowing was dropped. The narrator said something about Thriller Bark not being the true source of the rumors about people disappearing in the Florian Triangle, and after that, we saw some shadowy figures with glowy red eyes. What future event could this refer to? Im? Ancient Weapons? Kuina?

I believe Oda might still reveal this in the future. My guess is that during the all-engulfing war at the end of One Piece, these creatures will play a part.

Kuina! That made he laugh... I think they are legitimate giants (much bigger than Elbaf giants)/giant beasts. Based on Zunisha (the elephant of Zou), there is either some sort of Ancient Kingdom technology to create the giant level beasts or an area where they are kept. The "punishment" aspect of Zunisha makes me think he/she was a human that was somehow changed into the giant beast as a punishment. This is also why there is limited freedom/consciousness. So the giant beasts being isolated to the Floridian Triangle makes sense since no one else seems to know about them/we would know if they were seen elsewhere. I definitely don't think it's a rehash of the giant shadows from Skypeia. The red eyes are to confirm that part. So it is definitely going to come up eventually. Not for a long time though. But all of the Yonkou wars should be much more exciting in the meantime!
