Writing a title to make my Nakama fall for the bait is hard you know. Long time... So, I was supposed to release this thread a long time ago, but... certain incidents filled up and had to look after them. So, without any further adieu let’s start our rambling. : - Yonko before you go start your unbiased theory, let’s introduce them. Ok, sorry, who was this thread related to? : - The major role in this thread is played by them- Charlotte Pudding is the 35th daughter and the 76th child of the Charlotte Family. Yamato who’s off grid right now, nothing has come to light right now, information about him is mostly unknown. : - Our nakama might have melt a lot of brain cells before reaching this thread let’s remind them of who they are. : That makes.... sense Here’s Pudding- And Yamato? Why are you interested in his picture? Anyways, another strong hold as I’ve got here was from, this- Pudding just got her marriage ruined, and from the looks of LinLin, and her response after the marriage, might come into consideration here. > She comes with her ship filled with most of her children. ALSO- This triggered something like the short story’s panel also celebrates the reunion of both sisters one forced to marriage and stuff, and the reunion of crew mates from a Pirates group. : - So, you.... are.... telling, the important announcements which Kaido’s going all out on might be something related to this? : - Yes, yes that panel. : - So, what you are telling is, “an alliance” as mentioned in the panel... in terms of LinLin it would most probably be a marriage. Cool backing for the theory. : - And, the story of the sisters Lola and....... what was the other sister’s name? Anyways in their case forceful marriage and stuff, it’s relatable. And now, the same thing might happen with Pudding. Sanji forgeting those trimmed out feelings and parts of his memories might come back and... you know what. : - The other sister’s name is - Chiffon. By the way, that’s a cool theory you’ve got there! So, might be there’s more to it we can’t directly jump to conclusions right away with only a dust full of information as of now. It might be enticing to some but, let’s wait for what ever comes by. Let’s hope Pudding, Katakuri, and a Jaw dropping event together. PS: I know many might have contrary theories to this, and I would also like to hear them out. Please share your opinions and thoughts. Yup. I agree sounds plausible. But you know this... I think that Yamamoto is possibly Kaido’s equivalent of Sanj—a failure who’s going to be sacrificed for the alliance. 😜 Are you suggesting that he’s going to be married off to Pudding and the two of them all both be good people and then turn on their parents? Or... did I get something else out of your theory?

My initially gut reaction is that Oda doesn't like direct overlap, so back to back arcs that have an arranged marriage as a central aspect of the arc doesn't fit. The Pudding aspect does make a lot of sense because she is how Big Mom translates the Poneglyphs. I'm personally hoping for something crazy with both the announcement and Yamato. As WeebyWitch mentioned, we have a few points indicating Yamato probably is a "black sheep" of the family. The main difference is that Yamato is the strongest child (if there are other siblings).

I wouldn't be surprised if Kaido were planning to marry off Yamato, but I don't necessarily think it'll be to Pudding as I think Yamato's a little older (probably around the age Momo would have been had he not been sent through time). But overall I agree, I imagine Yamato will be working against Kaido rather than with him based on what's been said. And if the Tobi Roppo are being sent after him, he's probably rather strong.

Ah, if we're going with the time appropriate norms...Yamato getting a younger bride through an arranged marriage is the norm. 10+ years of age difference was common and remained common until maybe the middle of the 20th century.
