It seems as though this many deaths would be likely to devalue a main character death. I’m not sure what the chances are of this happening, but it sure is an interesting observation!

We're going to see big casualties in Wano for sure, and the biggest death flags currently hang over the Scabbards... Trying to make a call on who will fall is tough. Kin'emon seems a likely suspect because we've been with him for a long time and he's said quite a few times that he thinks he's going to die. As for the others, I couldn't begin to guess.

Welcome to VCC shadow22 and thanks for sharing! I'm completely 50-50 on deaths. I like how it is realistic and shows how big the task of taking down a Yonkou is, but the other half of me thinks Oda still does his best to stick to his theme of the death of a dream being astronomically worse than physical death. On the bright side, we should get a whole bunch of great action in the meantime.

I have a feeling Kin'emon will die too, even though I don't want him too. But at the same time, I feel like the arc would definitely have a bigger emotional impact if some of them did die... Also Oda seems to be less, hesitant I guess, about killing characters as he's gone on in the series. Pedro, Yasu... so I can see some of them dying. I certainly don't want Kiku to die though. I really want to see her and Izo in a scene later on.

The common theme is that it was necessary for the plot to proceed and considering the impossible odds against the protagonist alliance right now, someone dying makes a lot of sense. But oh man...that one part of the recent chapter with Kinemon saying he used up the rest of his life's worth of luck and willingness to die does seem like an Oda breadcrumb.

I agree that the odds are not in the alliances favor, especially now that Big Mom and her crew are joining with Kaido. There's quite a few heavy hitters for them to go against. And of course Oda loves his foreshadowing so that could definitely be a hit towards something happening to Kin'emon

I think its plausible to say some of the red scabbard will fall and die. Who or what, is tough to say at this moment. But an interesting observation nonetheless..
