Skipping over the implied deaths of Kaidou and Big Mom? So much for death of a dream vastly outweighs physical death. Although I will 100% admit it is Oda admitting he is actively trying to minimize loopholes.
The Toko aspect is a huge part of my reasoning for Hitetsu to play a role outside of Wano Kuni (just like how I think Queen is meant to have a second role in the plot too since Oda normally doesn't waste character development). Those that come into contact with Hitetsu mature and develop. The Queen aspect changes with the climax fights for sure though. If Queens fight had the feel of how Zoro vs. King went then that would have solidified it for me.
I'm not sure if you picked up on the disastrous extent Oda created with the eruption Marco, but it seems unnecessary (unless it will destroy the toxins/pollution). I don't think even Zunisha could stop the landslide from the cracks shown.
I wonder if "opening" Wano Kuni's borders is literal in the sense that the massive currents will no longer be present. Maybe this is part of the potential landslide. So if this is the case (immediately destroy the pollution, which far away in Udon, as well as stop the currents then I would understand). There are changes happening in Udon, so this technically is being implied.
Hahahah…Oda finally decided on a direction to go. B.S. is B.S. All these contradictions, all these sloppy mistakes, the unnecessary breaks to make further changes, and I'm sure I'm still missing stuff (the anime is having these same immediate contradictions in trying to expand on the manga's mess). It for sure could have been worse (Luffy winning with only haoushoku coating). Oda still has not given up on trying to leave breadcrumbs for everything but expecting people to not figure out what's coming up. I truly hope he can get over this damn pettiness or whatever it is that makes him believe it is somehow possible to have potentially 90+% of the puzzle pieces in place and still not see what the final picture is. We suddenly took out an arc with Big Mom's defeat (which is 100% confirmation of "boring adventure" BY LUFFY'S OWN WORDS).
Oda isn't all that great at connecting the breadcrumbs. He had great editors. Shanks losing an arm to a sea king is absolute B.S., but we don't know that context in the first episode. Moreover, I'd be willing to guarantee there is a significantly smaller fandom without the emotional tie. We don't know Shanks or Luffy much, so why would we really care about Luffy's vow to gather a crew stronger than Shanks'? Everything in the right context, and all the new stuff takes things out of context. The young yes-men that Oda likely got to choose as his editors is now coming to bite him in the butt.
Wow...if Big Mom and Kaidou legitimately die from being in the magma, then I guess that's one way of stopping them from seeking vengeance. I'd rather have Big Mom fall into the ocean so only Kaidou has the Oden replication. If we ignore the B.S. exhaustion/complete usage of their haki energy, then even their natural defenses might not hold up against magma.
The narrator having to change things is the absolute proof of last minute changes. If the narrator doesn't know what's coming up in the future (since they know the ending of the story already)...this only reflects Oda not knowing what direction he is taking the series (in at least in regards to the Wano Kuni arc; the whole Nika and god-mode Luffy is direct proof of likely changing at least parts of the very end of One Piece, but that's a whole separate discussion).
Why is Momo's flame clouds still present? Is his an awakening? Why else would it be independent of his concentration and exhaustion? Either that or most sloppy work by Oda.
At least Yasu is one of the few untarnished bright spots of the arc. Him choosing to eat a SMILE just because Toko ate one fits his personality of always sacrificing for the greater good perfectly.
I wonder if Hitetsu has a greater connection other than just being the same race as King and being the best swordsmith in Wano Kuni. Being the best swordsmith would give him direct connections/close relationships with the daimyou/shogun/other high ranking people, but maybe there's more to it and this comes up with the moon races? Multilayered roles for key characters is the norm prior to B.S. and King will not be the one to carry out this role with him losing a wing.
I wonder what Hiyori is doing in her panel.
At least if Big Mom dies, the B.S. of Nami depending on Zeus as a power up goes away.
Hahah...poor Chopper is working so much he's getting dizzy.
Just in case it got missed, Oda shows in the first page or two how the combination of Big Mom and Kaidou's holes are creating cracks in the ground supporting the entire area. Even the Mt. Fuji is already leaning over. I have no idea what the point of creating a natural disaster of top of all of this is for. Unless this pseudo volcanic eruption destroys all of the toxins/poisonous byproducts from the weapons productions then nothing else seems legit to me.
Oh woah...that was faster than I thought. How does Momo know this isn't anything bad? Luffy is smiling because he knows he won and he doesn't bother to worry about "small" details.
Just because Kaidou is going to die doesn't mean it isn't going to destroy the land. The cracks are so big there could be a collapse of the ENTIRE AREA. The magma isn't going to fill the huge underwater valley. All those cracks means that the capital and Onigashima are going to fall into the ocean. Momo's kenbunshoku can mean he can "hear" Kaidou dying. Momo doesn't have foresight kenbunshoku and no one so far can choose to see far into the future (Shirley has random visions into the future).
Let's just get this excessively pro-male crap over with. Hiyori is literally just a pretty face and it will always piss me off that Oda went out of his way to create B.S. so that she couldn't just be a temporary shogun (have a semi-empty title since she only holds it until Momo comes of age).
