Not sure if I would chose endearing as my description. I just hope Oda doesn't give us an explanation as to why Kaidou wants to destroy the world. He seemingly had this prior to joining Rocks, so unless the father issues are tied to Big Mom or Rocks (all of Kaidou's interactions with Momo), this flashback is still separate from what the main question behind Kaidou's backstory.

At least we get indirect confirmation that Pudding did kiss Sanji and just took out his memory of it out of embarrassment. I wonder if other crew nakama will have their happy ever after ending with a cliche fan service ending of seeing the next generation (at the end of the series).

Hahaha...at least Oda isn't going 100% boring adventure, but if what Momo is saying is true, he should know more than Robin. Either that or Oden did not keep details on a day to day basis (which seems contradictory to his thorough personality and what we were shown in his flashback).

Even without haki, someone with over a thousand douriki shouldn't be affected by fire. Oda could easily create exciting ninjutsu for Raizo (what he does against Kaidou), but he just took the lazy way out.

NICE! Hiyori looks like she will be able to get her revenge for the entire family. At least we aren't going to complete B.S. If Oda does revert suddenly to the mindset of "death of a dream is >>> worse than physical death" I will go ballistic...

So more magical decreases to defenses and magical dues ex machina power ups for allies truly taking on enemies multiple tiers out of their league. Izo's bullets weren't penetrating Kaidou (we only saw slashes in the manga penetrate), but they can penetrate CP0 level defenses...and he's successfully taking on a 2v1 too. So is Drake going to get a dues ex machina power up and take down this second CP0 agent then? Maybe Luffy is going to get another magical power up and regain energy without eating since this has already occurred with his haki energy.

Pretty sad that the highlight of Usopp's contribution is minor stuff like depending on Tama's fruit ability to gather Kiku and Kinemon.

Wait...wasn't Zoro above Franky? I guess more anime only expansion on what happened after this new mysterious grim reaper showed up.

And now even more contradictions...Luffy had made ASTRONOMICAL jumps to MATCH Yonkou level strength IN HIS BASE FORM. This is Kaidou, who can lift Onigashima WITH HIS FREAKIN MIND. Luffy is THAT strong in his base form. Gears are an exponential power up. This should have been a winning blow just now but Kaidou isn't even KO'ed.

So we get small reminders of what Yonkou/admiral level truly is once in a while (Big Mom being able to make a fully autonomous awakening attack), but 99% of the time we get contradictory weakening of them just because Oda wrote himself into a corner. I'm biased to say that not having a climax fight for every crew nakama is just as embarrassing. There is an excess of strong enemies and Usopp, Chopper, and Brook (to a certain extent since he was just assisting Robin and we didn't see almost any attacks from the female baddies).

Is Oda going to keep all the future battles at this lowered level? At this point, this is for the better because seeing Shanks, Blackbeard, Aokiji, Akainu, flashbacks of Roger/Whitebeard, etc. just rubs the crap in our face that Kaidou, Big Mom, CP0, the Tobi Roppou, etc. were ALL stronger than what was shown.

It's probably a damn good thing work is staying super busy...if I had more time it would only rip apart all the B.S. that is only further expanding.

I found Luffys sudden power up kinda odd like was Kaido not fighting seriously the entire time so Luffy can rest and recover or whats the deal?

And yeah those "deaths" i sadly have to agree because they need to be confirmed leaving it like this just makes me think its just a K.O.

I want to say Izo taking out one of the CP0 was good and we are not sure how much he developed over time but then again some power leaps being able to match 2 agents isnt exactly a small feat especially one of that rank.

Oda should not be afraid to kill characters as they can cause growth, important story motivation etc.

Interesting that Momonosuke doesn’t want to open up the borders… I wonder if Yamato and co will convince him to, or if he’ll stick to his guns and keep the closed after this arc?

This is an interesting theory for sure. If Oden asked her to do it, then he’s definitely protecting information that could cause a lot of trouble in the wrong hands. But if Toki’s doing that of her own accord, then I think there’s a lot of questions to be answered about the Void Century and just what happened…

There are so many hidden mysteries in Wano, one loses track of the number of them.

I forgot to mention, what preparations did Raizo make? We're getting closer and closer to the fall of Onigashima and the only "creature" that's capable of saving everyone seems to be Zunisha. It's so great when there's no break after a chapter like that.

Oh that’s a good question. I’d have to re-read but my guess is that the plan is either related to executing Orochi, or what Denjiro’s been up to this whole time. Or maybe Denjiro’s been waiting in the shadows this whole time to execute Orochi? They’ve got him caught now, and you would expect him to fall so Momonosuke can take his place as shogun…

Oh right, we haven't seen Denjiro for a while, but I'd be super disappointed if he executed Orochi instead of Hiyori. After all, the whole purpose of Hiyori's appearance in Onigashima is to kill Orochi, not to mention that she's the most "worthy" of giving the final blow, since she endured 20 years of pain as the daughter of Oden, compared to Momo who travelled forward in time and his terrible loss is quite recent.

This is insane! It's a bit of a stretch but you can't rule out anything when it comes to Oda. Seriously though, who the hell noticed THAT?!
