Hello hello hello, and welcome to VCC 2.0!

The forum uses an entirely new core tool - we're now powered by Flarum!

There's a few changes to features that we can/can't have now, but the main thing is that the interface is completely new - it should be a lot smoother and the loading times should be massively reduced. It'll take a while to get used to, because it works differently to any previous incarnation of the forum, but once you've had a little time to get used to it, we promise it's all pretty easy.

For guides on how to use the new forum tools, check out these guides, prepared by @sweetjacky !

You'll notice a few other differences while you play around. First, your post count might be a little higher. This is because, unfortunately, post counts for Forum Games are turned on. If we can work out how to turn them off again, we will. Promise. You might also notice your user rank is different - the thresholds for each rank are a bit lower. We'll see if we can fix this, or even add more ranks beyond the previous highest, which was Joy Boy.

We've got a brand new Rankings tab on the forum now too - this is sorted by number of likes. There's some other cool things going on with rankings too - you'll have to discover those by being active…

You'll also notice there isn't a shop or VCCash system yet - this is because Flarum doesn't support one yet. When we can implement it again we will. For those of you that support the forum via Patreon, we'll work on an alternative reward system - for now we have the same orange "Donor" rank, but as we think of more things to do we'll announce them.

This new version of the forum is very much a work in progress, so feel free to make suggestions for features you'd like to see! And if you need any help getting around, feel free to ask an admin!

I expected it to look much different than the old version but the whole picture is quite familiar, which is nice. It will definitely need some getting used to, at least for me, but thanks for the work you guys put in for it! 😁

Yeah, we did try our best to keep it as similar as possible, @Marco Polo and @sweetjacky did an amazing job reformatting important things and sorting out sections/posts in a way that would seem familiar to you all, and well I tried my best to keep the same aesthetic vibes and as many functionalities as i could bring along <3

Tried that. Didn't work.

Just now, another spooky thing happened. I could finally see the chat and thought the problem was solved. But I couldn't post messages there.

Then I tried posting here and the site said I need to log in, so I did. But then the chat vanished again. Clicking on max/min doesn't work. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I have another issue to report and dunno if this is the right place but it's about the spoiler tag.

The tag itself works fine but the text is still visible on the preview O.O

For example, in the preview for the first thread, the bit after "click to hide" is spoiler and it's visible. The text that can be seen in the two threads here do not contain any major spoilers but I was wondering if that is an issue.
