HO HO HO! Secret Santa is back!!! :
Now that Halloween is over, it's time to bring the Christmas Spirit back to VCC. For those who haven't joined yet or those who simply forgot, I will explain the event again.
What is Secret Santa?
Secret Santa is a Christmas tradition where a group of people is getting together, and each member of the group is assigned as Secret Santa for another member of the group. The secret santa then has to get a gift for the person they’re assigned to. Normally people buy gifts but since we’re an online community we use gifts that we can share online. Have in mind that it’s not secret for no reason though! Don’t tell anyone whose Santa you are, especially the person you have to gift!
How to join?
To join you just have to write in this thread that you want to join. And it would also be good if you mention some of your likes and dislikes in your post so people who don’t know you well have an idea as to what they should gift you.
Some gift ideas:
This is just for inspiration. We had so many different gifts in the past. Some possible gifts are drawings, stories, poems, songs (if you’re confident enough to sing), signatures, avatars, self-made gift cards, a collection of fanart, a video and so on~
But I’m not very creative, what should I do?
That is no problem at all! In this event it doesn’t matter whether you’re skilled at something like drawing or writing. It is the thought and the effort that counts the most. Most important is that the gift receiver gets something that will make them happy. It can be as simple as a card or some nice words of appreciation that will cheer them up.
How does it work?
Phase 1: Sign Up
You can sign up until the 23rd of November. This will give you a month to make make a gift which should be plenty of time. On that day I will also send you the name of the person you have to make a gift for.
Phase 2: Submission
You have time until the 23rd of December to send me the gift. Make sure to send them to me and NOT to the person that will receive it. It’s supposed to be secret until the end.
Phase 3: Gifting
On the evening of the 24th of December I will send the gifts to everyone via PM.
Phase 4: Revealation
On the following day, the 25th of December I will post the gifts on the forum. However, I will not reveal the Secret Santas just yet. This will give you some time to have some fun and figure out who created which gift.
After that I’ll give it one or two days until I finally reveal the names.
This year I most likely won't be doing a lottery like I did last year but depending on how much free time I have I might think of something else to do for the participants.

Deadline for Phase 2
I'd also love to say that all the participants will get a Secret Santa banner again but I don't know yet if our banner makers will be able to make one. I'll update this thread once I have more information on it.
