Synopsis:
The web manga centers around Bojji, a deaf, powerless prince who cannot even wield a children's sword. As the firstborn son, he strives hard and dreams of becoming the world's greatest king. However, people mutter about him behind his back as "a good-for-nothing prince" and "no way he can be king."

Bojji is able to make his first ever friend, "Kage" (shadow)—a literal shadow on the ground who somehow understands Bojji well. (Kage is a survivor of the Kage assassin clan that was all but wiped out. No longer a killer, Kage now makes ends meet by stealing.) The story follows Bojji's coming-of-age as he meets various people in his life, starting with his fateful encounter with Kage.

Episode 1 The pre-op scenes made me think, "hey, are we starting with a spin off on The Emperor's New Clothes?" And then the episode's name turned out to be The Prince's New Clothes! I hadn't read the summary before starting the show (my friend had already watched it and told me to do so without question), so it came as a surprise that Bojji was deaf and mute. When Kage appeared, I totally thought that Pride had retired from FMAB and gotten a new job : Anyways, Bojji and Pride... I mean, Kage's relationship turned out to be super cute and the king seems to be a kind father. I wonder how the giant size and normal size work though. The swordmaster seemed really nice - he even signs everything to Bojji! - but of course, a master swordsman would naturally want a talented student. Then. BOJJIIIIIIIIII!!!!! I wonder how come the master never saw these moves! Maybe Bojji has never had a chance to spar with anyone so he couldn't show these moves off in front of the master? Anyways, super cute episode turned super exciting. Even the songs are great. King Gnu and Yama! (Funny thing is that I've been listening to Yama's songs since last night xD) Can't wait for the next episode >.<

Episode 2 What the hell....why is my heart shredded into bits for a creature that's forever stuck mid-mitosis? Oh wait....it gets worse.....mummy Bojji... oh no...... What the hell Domas?????????????? I thought you were a kind person!!!! Even if you wanted Bojji to understand that he needs to be able to fight in the conventional way, WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU LET DADAI OR WHATEVER-THAT-SHIT-IS-CALLED BEAT BOJJI LIKE THAT???? WAS THAT BEATING VERY KINGLY? HUH?? YOU HYPOCRITE!!!! Thank god for Aepis. It doesn't help that the ending theme MV dropped today... https://youtu.be/Odv-zbpy-Y8

I thought this anime was going to be the Doragon Ie wo Kau of this season. Maaaaaaaaaaaaan was I wrong. Every episode makes your heart go up in the clouds only to slam it back onto the ground. The artwork is totally deceiving what the hell.

Aaaaaah I keep forgetting to post here. I just watched episode 11, so gonna rant only about that. Dyamm. Where is the plot going? What's the deal with Miranjo? Why is she using those underworld criminals to take Bosse captive??? Does she want to take Hiling's body for herself? Hiling is one hell of a queen, though. Mad respecc for the lady. Daida as a baby was shoooo cute. If he stayed with his mother (and continued to listen to Bebin and that other tutor), he'd have turned out just fine. Why the hell did Bosse let Miranjo get near him???? The little Miranjo inside that other dimension with Daida - she is still connected with Miranjo but she knows Bosse? Did Miranjo know Bosse since she was little? The flashback with the demon showed Miranjo in her artificial body, so I thought they came to know each other then... Well, if these memories inside that blackhole are connected to the truth, it's no wonder Miranjo turned out twisted. I just wanna know what was that about Miranjo killing people first. Did her powers get out of control or something? The history is getting all murky like this blackhole... And last but not the least, Despa. He has been such a wonderful mentor for Bojji! Domas was never a good choice for Bojji, and that is certified now by Hokuro. I love how every single character has so much depth even if they appear for only a few seconds. For a lack of words, I can only say THIS IS SO WELL-WRITTEN!!!!

Been watching this and now up to date when I first saw it didn't think I would like it but God damn its so so good!! Bojji I just want him to succeed in everything such a character and been through so much!

Bojji mom, Gigan, Desha and the brothers, Bojji ptsd - all of these stuffed in a single episode. Too much to take, ohmykamisama.

The very last scene was so terrifying. I can't imagine what the hell happened to that kind younger brother to make him ... This ... Even the captain of the knights reminisced about his still-mortal, kind self. I suppose we're close to finding out? Maybe?

the superb storytelling fell apart at the end... Why..... Why did they have to start romance between Daida and Miranjo????
And couldn't Bojji be king if Kage stayed by his side?! I don't understand.
