Woah, the power plant mechanisms look fully modern. I guess Kaseki has been steadily upgrading so he's at a modern level.
I don't get why the people wouldn't understand Gen's story. Unless he's going on crazy tangents after the text we get.
But oh man...Ryuusui's desire for power is getting worse. At least it looks like Sai is meant to keep him in check.
BUT WHAT?! It takes something THIS BIG to make a basic computer?! If this is the case, there is going to be zero computer technology on the space ship so communication from the Earth will have to give all navigation calculations. With the manual programming of paper readings, this implies that the game levels are set so for example Tetris always has the same order of pieces. So I'm curious as to how Sai makes the jump to a chess AI. This should be astronomically more complicated.
So this is an unexpected twist. I assume this is a phenomenon outside of why-man having direct control. Medusas are made from 3D printed parts so there isn't anything to imply remote control capabilities and this should have stood out when taking them apart if it was present. So the only thing is timer activation upon shaking/movement. That would explain the ticking since it is exactly the mechanisms of a watch. At least this is/should be a short tangent. So it is just another mini-arc to match the new even faster pacing.
