Did Kaido look disappointed that the samurai gave in so easily?

Marco was awesomeness as per usual. So great to see him!
Luffy got the cuffs off and gave Yamato some good news but the realization that the cuffs actually did explode was a bit of a problem. That whole waiting for the Akazaya to start the battle was wondrous. Really set the mood.
So was Kaido distracted by memories/trauma/emotions or did they use Oden’s techniques on him in order to break through his defenses?
