It was supoose to be a quick extraction but now became a fight for their lives. Their stocks are running low their bodies exhausted nearly broken. This is the usual tale of soldiers who have been forgotten. But this time it was not because they were forgotten but that their Helicopter has been shot down and they lost all communications. Their only hope was to walk back. They luckily had provisions so they would not kneel over and die. Their walk during the desert was rough... slowly but surely getting back. Francis was durable but Luis was just a medic.... it was painful to see Luis so down and Francis did his best to keep them both sane, it did not help they have been walking for weeks with barely enough to keep them alive. Luis almost lost it and wanted to kill himself with his pistole but Francis prevented it... with cost.. he got shot on his arm and since then Luis tries to stay sane for him. When they reached the beach both of them collapsed where they have been found by fellow soldiers. Their tale and their fight against the desert for months luckily ended now..... Today is one day after the deadline but I hope Jacky-san will be sweet about it? : I just now realized that I didn't submit the art entry I prepared.
