I really wanna play with my camera more though... NGL they’ve got me in that kind of mood.
Same. Episode 5 really gave us that kind of feeling xD Also OUR SHIP GOT DESTROYED IN THIS EPISODE Hahahaha Rou is nowhere to be found. I did not expect this development at all :
>
Him getting sick and her thinking he was making a move was pretty cute though. I’m not convinced she wasn’t into him as well.
Same! I think she liked Rikuo but she had deeper issues with herself so she had to let go and leave. I respect her for that and wish her luck in the future.
Episode 5
Tsk! I wanted to see more of the guy who has a crush on Haru since high school. Minato's presence made Rikuo uneasy. I thought our MC was finally gonna make a move or sth. Too bad the classmate will be leaving! :
Episode 6
...
Haru: Who was that?
Shinako: Dunno. A freeloader, she said.
Haru: What the hell? Since when?! He never even told us about it.
Shinako: Well, it's not like we're dating him.
Haru: I know but...how can you be so calm about this, sensei!? He's cheating on us.
Damn this convo killed me HAHAHAHHAA Gotta love drunk Shinako! She's really showing more personality now xD Rivals really make stories more fun! But it doesn't seem like we'll see her again too. :
Episode 7
Rou says the manliest things:
"I've been watching you in the kitchen ever since I was a kid. I want to be able to see this forever."
SHIT A P-PROPOSAL?! :
So far, the story isn't as sad and as deep as I expected. I was prepared to be crushed by this anime and cry. Nevertheless, I still enjoy the direction of the story now.
YAS!!! All of this... I was watching them like—-ohh snap—and like the coworker said (btw, check out the general animemes thread), he’s lucky that Shinako got mad about the whole thing. He’s got all these women and he’s so blasé about it. Like WTF mate? : When Haru attacked him I was like, violence isn’t the answer but bruh you were asking for it. “What does it have to do with you?” How did you fix your lips to even say that? She’s so into you; she’s been there for you, trying to support you, lift you up, doing for you what you’re doing for Shinako and you’re going to play her like that? Not cool, dude.
Rou was really growing up and I thought the foreshadowing of a couple was legit about them—from the kitchen scene to that hug—until she turned it around and went for our lame photographer. He’s not lame so much as just... uninspired and shiftless. I swear the answer to this show is polyamory. They all need to date each other. They each have things that they want and need within one another, there’s not really a single answer in one person. You can’t make him be more assertive. He is who he is. You want the relationship you have with Rou but not the sex... you want to let him comfort you and be there in those ways. You want the other things from Rikuo but you need to be the aggressor because you turned him down/have been the caretaker. It’s okay to have different dynamics with different people. Just communicate and make it happen. I dunno that’s my filter on life coming through. These relationships are too convoluted to play out that way. It’s not like another show where that was possible. These folks are more possessive it seems.
And the ex definitely had things she needed to work out but at the same time was the most pure in her affections I think because she wanted what was best for him and his happiness rather than trying to get her way. So she left once she saw she was causing trouble and he might actually have a chance at something with someone.
