I can relate to all the non-science characters because computers are not things I understand. However, it was somehow understandable after the explanation.
I only know basic electronics, which is still faaaaaaaaaaarrrr from the circuits in a computer...and definitely not even close to a supercomputer, but there is a clear oversimplification of "computer" here. I'm 100% not worried because the other times this has happened, we got expansion and explanations later.>
This was a fun chapter. Seeing Sai get hyped and everyone get depetrified were especially satisfying. ^_^
Yup, the American side outside of Stan had a completely different mindset towards the "teenage science brigade". I'm also hoping the team unity aspect can continue as the super cities get established. >
The information and explanations were all really nicely laid out and easy to follow. I can see this coming arc leading a lot of Japanese kids to be interested in computer science somehow…
Maybe it's because I took basic electronics...but I come out of this chapter with more questions. I still got blind faith in the manga team, and especially when they go above and beyond for references.>
More video games...
Yes, I think that's what I was missing on Sai! The panel of him playing with a toy computer in this chapter sticks out so much more now.
I guess it's hard to have a unique take on a summer themed color spread, but seeing Sai and Xeno in color is probably the highlight for me. I don't think we saw Xeno colored before and him having his X drawn his face is comedic to me (even without his face of not comprehending the fun of playing at the beach).
Taiju only wanting to shake Yuzuriha's hand was hilarious. And everyone reuniting was definitely a nice touch (it was only Stan that had the enemy mentality and kill first). But I'm curious if they actually have people to speak in English for the anime. I think even Ukyou already had some lines in English, so Luna talking in English here seems like a similar situation.
I'm glad I took basic electronics as an elective as a freshman. A major reference for all the computer stuff was necessary this chapter because it already seems like major oversimplification of a supercomputer is being made.
Young Sai is full of dreams and curiosity, so I don't think it's a coincidence to have Bochi adding younger looking faces on Sai in certain panels. But all this character development makes it seem like he's going to be doing more than just the programming.
I forgot the American engineer's name, but he and his team aren't surprised by the work (since Xeno makes them do similar things anyway with the guns, planes, and boat). But the start of mass production is the biggest point. But probably correct since the computer aspect is more relatable to readers.
I guess we could potentially even skip straight to the completion of the 200,000 pieces. Senku's side is waiting on fuel creation if I'm remembering correctly. So the minor struggles to create the production line is the only limiting factor. Either way, we have always had expansions when the road map is skipping steps, so I'm curious as to how this "supercomputer" is going to work.
