Synopsis:

the animation style of this one took some getting used to. It’s like a video game or something. The premise is kind of not really explained that well either. I feel like it’s catered to those who know the series already. Maybe it’ll get better. The guy who supposedly died is taken in and now runs black hole? I’m guessing with the other mystery guy? I’ll watch a little more and try to get a better handle on things. Was going to watch the second episode but I’m exhausted and the app is severely misbehaving. Maybe after I sleep I can try it out.

Okay dude fused with the car, right?! Also why is Si Be drinking scotch out of a wine glass? Besides all of that, the headmaster is a little bit smarmy but I guess he’s trusted. I like that the tracker guy is learning humanisms. His being nonhuman got clarified so I feel better about the car fusion bits. I wonder if this personal grudge is going to cause issues… not saying the space Pirates don’t need to be dealt with if they’re causing harm but getting too emotional can come back to haunt you in battle.

Despicable. Arms dealers dealing in kids too? Meh. The most powerful tactical mecha in the eight galaxies, eh?Is this a long lost partner? And she’s got the key to Mr. Powerful—dangerous. And Mr. Headmaster just lost a ton of supporters, oof they were teachers. Sad. But he got inspired to give a proper speech. Wait, his blood woke him up? Ohh mystery surrounding true identity. Good stuff. Oh wait, she was responsible for the attack from the beginning? And Venom Nest is there about the chip? Didn’t one just get implanted in the headmaster? Complicated. Art/animation is still weird. It’s like watching a video game.

The students stole the mecha and headed straight for Venom Nest. Lu impersonated Si and is going to have to follow there. The father the pirate seemed like he hated Si but maybe they’ll end up on the same side? Or maybe he’s going to end up attacking the fake Si Ge? Complicated all the way around.

So the old military guys had some deep discussions about the past and it got… heated. I wonder if the guy Si Ge is looking for is really alive after all this time. And the kids are doing great. Also that ending was hilarious lol.

So it really hit the fan. Some really nice fights. Plus we got to see what happened to the kids and protective papa mode and Si Ge coming to the rescue. Plus headmaster discovering his identity and dad discovering headmaster was into shady stuff. So much intrigue. Topped off with confirmation of the genetics matching. Whoo hoo.

This was just a depressing episode. There were like two cute moments but otherwise it was fights, intrigue, disaster and that ending—WTAF?! Poor Penny. And poor Si Ge. He was helpless to save her.

Totes forgot to post this one. Well that was just touching enough. It had emotional moments for the students and Lin/Si Ge plus inspirational time for the headmaster. With some flashbacks thrown in to give us a bit more depth on the students to boot. And it finishes off with an ominous approach of the pirates themselves. I approve. Now let’s get this party started and see if our ginger is going to be able to operate a mecha.

So it was an aftershock? Either way, the Hawk was none to pleased to know that Lin had figured out his son’s true identity. That scene of him doing the brave and reckless motorcycle ride through the exploding station was beautimous. Especially so the way he used himself as a shield to save Lu and toss him in only to be grabbed himself as Lu risked his own safety. That bond is strong. I love it.

Starting with torture. Then moving on to a fight. Those two really don’t get along but they work relatively well together it seems. They have very different principles? I wonder when they’ll ever see eye to eye. Alas it looks like the map is about to get filled out a bit at least.

We get more of Lin’s history now and some more interplay between him and Lu. Plus they’re sort of winning over the bad guys they just captured? Fascinating.

Ahh he found the way the pirates attacked back in the day. That’s something. And headmaster provided a noise cancelling device plus advice for our redhead. It helped but not enough to push her over the edge to save that guy. Hawk is clearly thinking of Lu’s real father due to his actions/plans… and now they’ve got contact from the North Tower. Is this a good thing?

Ohh wow. Lu is dreaming about being who he really is. So he was his former self when he found Lin but suffered head trauma which caused his blood to open the capsule and his subsequent memory loss. Fascinating. Also, this infiltration plan looked crazy and I’m amazed to see that it is not disappointing. Inhuman appears to be watching the entire procedure so that’s a potential wrench in the works plus “Kingfisher” wasn’t exactly trying to be a distraction, he genuinely got caught there. So…. Yeah. Anyways, I guess it’s a matter of seeing how things go and seeing how the headmaster adjusts to his fractured memories.
