It was worse with Jawahib.😂 I'm not a One Piece hater because i choosed too,Oda and Toei did everything they could to make me hate this story just like Kishimoto and Pierrot did with Naruto. You give up one and try another and yeah...you know the rest.🤦 They could work on better ops and endings but Toei is Toei (Japanese 4Kids). Dragon Ball wasn't good with opennings and endings either. Aimer,Nano,Shiena Nishizawa,Chisuga Haruka,BoA and her openning of Fairy Tail... Toei should listen to real music!

However, even openings such as One Day or Hope are too childish? I feel like I understand with the early days ones but they've kinda changed over time. It was more like old day long running ones generally had more "childish" ones if you compare them to some others. One Piece defo doesn't have the best op/eds out there when it comes to shounen but I do like them. I think there's like 3 max that I don't like as much as some of the others but that's about it hehe. Also if you like the series, you'll naturally come to like the OPs more cos of the visuals imo. I've seen openings of stuff before I seen it sometimes, and it just doesn't hit the same anymore once you're actually involved/emotionally invested. Honestly tho, my preference to OPs goes to stuff SPYAIR or AKFG did, so naruto and hq/gintama got some of my favorite openings ever. Mannn. Love that shit. I went off topic oop.. ah well

Interesting view,@Monster Trio. I like some of the visuals but only when Hancock is there but because of the infamous milking Toei is doing i allways skipped the opennings because i couldn't stand the themes and i wanted to watch the few minutes of story they had for me. At some point it was too much for me to handle. Waiting an entire week to watch less than a chapter of the manga in one episode with long opennings i don't like is a torture for me. And mangas are also a no go for me because without animation i see it as empty art.

Yeah I defo feel you on that, I dropped the anime in dressrosa, only read the manga, I feel like picking it up again cos of the current manga arc though, but we'll see if I actually do that. > And mangas are also a no go for me because without animation i see it as empty art. I know many that think the same but you're honestly missing out on so many good series, not only shounen like One Piece that are just way better when it comes to manga, but also some that only have gotten one season or NOT even the chance of getting an adaptation yet. Or the adaptation sucked lmao tokyo ghoul but we do not speak of that Either way, I can surely respect your view but it's real sad and I wished you didn't think of it as but empty art. Can't change your views though obviously haha

Super Powers (I haven't watched the last 2 yet) From endings, top 3 would be: 2. Run! Run! Run!, 4. Shouchi no suke, 16. Dear Friends (Merry~ TT) close were 9. Free Will, 14. Mirai Koukai and 15. Eternal Pose

It took a bit to get used to because it was so melancholic but then I couldn’t get enough of it. The one after it, “Superpowers” had me dancing and singing from the first hearing though. The animation/visuals were meh but the song itself was super fun. It’s possible that these are more meaningful than the others because I spent more time with them as I’ve been week to week during those arcs but who knows? Definitely an under appreciated one! Very emotional, which is unusual for a One Piece opening i feel. And speaking of under appreciated openings, I’d like to remind everyone of Hard Knock Days - whilst the animation is a bit hit and miss, the song is great. Or at least, I think it is Yeah, it really has it in the feelings department. As for Hard Knock Days, I remember that one—it was fun. That feels like Dressrosa to me but I could be wrong.
