Just an extra warning, Spoilers:
I finished this today.
I have to say, this is one hel of realistic anime. The vibe as it brings in a lot from a reallife perspective.
What happens when you make certain choices, the selfdestruct of someone, loving another and also the will of carrying out someone else his dream.
Breaking out of bad habits, getting back on track.
This season had it all,
Where as season 1 had a happy ending, this one fell flat on his back for me.
The whole pace, storyline and all was fantastic and brilliant.
The last fight of the season, and they did a wonderful job of guiding us there, was a great fight that got abruptly stopped.
I get it, I get why they did it. But I feel it wasn´t the right choice for an ending. Especcially with the whole Mac situation going on.
Joe had to take the win here with the gear from Chief.
Setting up a third season, because we saw Liu training again.
They hinted at a last fight between Joe and Liu after all.
Mac is retired, so Joe had to take that W, and waited for Liu going in a third season.
Joe has lost his two last big matches after his wonderful Megalonia win in S1. His prestige isn´t that good anymore.
Yeah he didnt lost the usual way, and blabla..
But he needed that win and if he did. This would be my new N1 anime of all time.
A missed oppurtunity to say the least.
Nonetheless a really well done sequel.
