I'm kinda surprised, kinda not surprised Gen took first place in the character poll. A similar surprise is the pacing, which seems even faster since we have peaceful and smooth creation of whatever "city" Spain is (Fluorite City I guess). But Kohaku's vision is exponentially greater, so she doesn't need the same level of telescope. With her vision, she only needs to be able to see the moon clearly and that's what photographers use. Wow...the Kaseki upgrade is such a huge progression in that even a scaled model of their spaceship prototype gets included for accuracy of testing. Ah, so the fuel limitation is going to be the problem. I wonder if a huge group of beavers made this dam. Assuming there are even beavers in this part of the world. Ohhhhh...we have this first rocket designated as "Dr. 1" so this is probably the "level 99" aspect. So now we see Senku willing to cross into Xeno's world only because there are no people. Hmmmm...I wonder if this dam is manmade. Hopefully not or hopefully it is. One way we can move faster onto India and rocket experimentation or we have a new civilization to come in contact with.

I googled it and beavers don't live in Africa I don't think (they used to at least in North Africa, not these days), but destroying a damn like that can't be any good. Hopefully there's nothing important... There's a panel of Senku explaining that it was just washed up debris accumulating over the years...so much for some sort of exciting twist. But the positive side is that we are moving on to India soon. Context implies an update on the other teams during the travel time.

GEN BEAT SENKU???? That’s genuinely unexpected. Really puts into perspective just how impressive Luffy’s stranglehold on the top spot of One Piece popularity polls is… This was a really cool chapter. We’ve sacrificed a rocket prototype, but making sure there’s open and easy routes for sea travel is hugely important, given that boat is still the main mode of transportation for now. Next stop, Math City!
