I’ll let @SunnySapphire do the rest lol
Don't freaking mind if I do!
Sooooooo, this was awesome! Like, this was incredible. Even looking back at the anime up till know, we could have seen this coming, but for some reason I didn't think anything of it. Of course he would be able to use more quirks, since the predecessors weren't exactly like him. Or at least not all of them. Being born with a pre-existing quirk makes more sense than being born without one like Deku for example.
However, I thought that something dark was taking over in him when I first saw it happening. I didn't think this was a new quirk or a new power like Monoma did. He said it, but it didn't seem like it. Luckily for us we got some exposition with one of the former One for All recipients. This means that there are more quirks coming that we don't know off yet, which is freaking exciting. The episode itself focused on all of that and it seems like the battle itself was kind off pushed aside. Which is a little bit sad, but this is also a good thing. Rather give more information about what is happening. Keeps me from wondering. Which is also not a bad thing, but damn...I don't know what I want at this point. :
All the action that did happen in the episode was quite good. Loved getting a quick and thorough introduction to all the other quirks in Class 1-B. They did a good job of highlighting each and every one in the few minutes that they got. Something that is pretty difficult to do. Makes it easier for them to go all out next episode since you already know everything that they can do. From class 1-B I thought Monoma was finally not that annoying that he usually is. Gotta say I like his attitude and vision when he talked to Shinso about it. I can see why he says that.
One other thing we need to talk about to finish this off is about Uraraka. Holy shit that girl is insane! Have to say that I also liked her vision and it is a very real thing. People tend to see hero's as indestructible, but in the end they are also human beings and they feel the same things like all of us do. Just like the non-hero's in the UA universe. So thinking about who takes care of them is a very touching thing. Clamping on to Deku in that moment showed how far she has come as well. I loved every single second of it.
Like Weeby also said in her review. I am wondering if he is going to be able to use his new powers. I would assume he gets to use it one more time. Even though I personally feel that he shouldn't be able to use it that easily. But we'll see how this continues. Sadly, I didn't get the time to watch the next episode immediately, but that is going to happen tonight!
