Wouldn’t Taiju also have his scars still then? Because he was also revived in the bat cave, and then by the revival fluid. Or maybe it’s because Suika’s revival fluid was different to the one the Senku quickly made this chapter.
I know the anime implies that Senku was exposed to greater environmental changes/ potentially dripped on for a longer time than Taiju (I'm remembering the environment change around him => the cave grows around him). I probably should pay more attention to what the revival fluid actually is, but context says the bat cave is the incomplete revival fluid.
So in that sense, yes, maybe Suika only creates the incomplete revival fluid (and Senku immediately makes the full revival fluid by reflexes)...but this contradicts the "healing" aspect. There has to be something physically causing it to remain by the scientific aspect (i.e. the erosion from time caused small divots on Senku's forehead).
Either way, I'm biased to think this is just a means of making Senku stand out. We'll see if there is any actual plot relevance for it. When Senku passes off something as minor, it hasn't been something significant off the top of my head.
Who delivers the message is always a huge part of context. Because it is Senku, hard to imagine it being 100% wrong. >
I think they’ll trust him and understand his desire to want to make everyone immortal, but there’s some things that the revival fluid seemingly can’t do, like visibly reverse aging. Kaseki says he feels stronger, but he doesn’t look younger so maybe the beneficial effects are relatively minimal?
This is where the medical side is needed. It is FAR from minimal. Kaseki has severe arthritis and degeneration. He has debilitating pain (most people think they know what 10/10 pain is, but if we keep this scale, Kaseki is having pain levels over 10/10). He stops having all of this and just has minor arthritis from his first petrification.
Most of the medical field cannot achieve these sorts of things. It takes "perfection" by my patients to get to this step. They have to completely re-write their habits/lifestyle choices. Multiple pure negative/bad habits have to be completely reversed.
By doing nothing, "miracles" are occurring in Kaseki's body. A super simple explanation is that joint damage (i.e. arthritis) results in a loss of joint space. Because this space becomes pure stone upon petrification, the normal and closer to fully healthy joint space that was lost is magically created. The partial pinching/grinding still remains, so he slowly starts to accumulate arthritis again, but it only becomes minor (vs. extreme since it took his entire life to accumulate). He should have completely normal joints this second time around.
Because he is in such great shape, he will have astronomically slower development of arthritis for the rest of the series. And this is 100% normal/accurate physiology. I've had a patient over 100 years old completely alleviate severe arthritic pains.
Any cancer/major disease is immediately cured. Someone with ALS or other neurological diseases are immediately cured since the nerves all become stone and revert back to normal. Freaking huge holes are filled in naturally and fully (Tsukasa, Hyouga, and Kohaku have huge chunks of their torsos missing since modern caliber guns are used against them).
There are huge "anti-aging" but it stems from a cellular level.
