sweetjacky I mean, they can only use the same plot device so many times before it loses its impact... he’s immortal. Everyone around him is going to die before him. That’s a given. Like he’s learning about the importance and fragility of life itself which is why he stopped Parona from killing herself. He could understand March’s desires and that you should live while you have the chance, etc. In theory, March’s ghost lives on with him or he can turn into her? I guess we’ll see which one... I’m more curious about the creature he’s going to fight, honestly. Just my thoughts though. ^_^

Fushi mimicked March with the pears. That was super cute. And it learned language so well. The branch creature was creepy. I was scared Fushi was going to lose its powers but March transformation for the win! Nice to meet your maker and all but why do I think there might be more of those creatures or something? Pioran was awfully cocky there at the end lol. Looks like we get new characters. Fun times.

I got my answer here. ^_^ But since we don’t know the extent of Fushi’s powers, it’s like those he’s met live on in him really. Isn’t that true of all of us and our memories and interactions with people?

How sad that Gugu’s brother abandoned him like that. I knew he was up to no good but dang. And I wonder why Rean didn’t say anything about being saved that day? Seems weird considering her attention to detail enough to notice Gugu in the marketplace in the first place. But whatever. Gugu went from being protective to envious and jealous as all get out. Funny how things change when romantic feelings are involved. *sigh*

When I noticed a new child in the last episode, I was ready for another tragedy. But damm. Gugu...... I thought his head was crushed by that trunk................ why did his belly get so swollen, though? Was he sick? > And I wonder why Rean didn’t say anything about being saved that day? Seems weird considering her attention to detail enough to notice Gugu in the marketplace in the first place. That rich kid is so weird. She didn't hear Gugu screaming at her to get away and continued to pick flowers. At first I thought she might have trouble hearing, since she had responded late back at the marketplace when Gugu was trying to give back the dog. But now she seems to have zero problems hearing anything. I wonder if it's a twin sister =.= > Gugu went from being protective to envious and jealous as all get out. Oh no. Not the experiments. Guess they both learned a lesson then. Did Gugu even come to terms with how he did the same thing to Fushi? Geez. Seems Fushi gets all the memories of the creatures he absorbs or whatever. The mud food bribe was adorable.

Hmm. I was worried that Fushi wasn’t making real food there for a bit but I guess that’s not an issue. Then I thought Gugu was actually gonna tell Rean the truth but nope. They did bond though so that works. Of course the master and the enemy had to go and show up. I knew it was trouble as soon as they ran into the forest but whatever. Let’s do this!!

Oh my. Gugu really came through on this one. Though he got wasted in the process and said a LOT of things he normally wouldn’t say lol. I like how they all stuck together and the bonds that were built. They grew so nicely. It turned out to be pretty heartwarming.

I decided I'll binge this show after it ends. Better to get the big sad all at once and not in installments....... Will come here to cry once I do...

Oh wow. So much happened this episode. Fushi is clearly going to use the things he injured himself with… like crayfish, pottery, etc but can we talk about Gugu and Rean? Him not emptying his belly was such a flag or rather gigi asking him to empty it was. I’m crushed. Fushi can become him if he dies but still. It’s tragic and the Nokkers can take his form away.

I don’t think Gugu can survive in the water with that heavy mask… just seeing him fall again has me thinking of possibilities. Gugu was saved by the Nokkers and some guests. Oh that was all very melodramatic not necessarily in a bad way but they like to try to play with your emotions. They’ve done it so much that it doesn’t work as well. But at least we see character growth and development.

I finally started watching it again. Watched episode 8. Fushi pouting when Gugu was "experimenting" on him was so cute. Gugu totally didn't flinch before inflicting pain on poor Fushi. Then he loses his cool when he learns that he was being experimented on as well? : I cracked up when Fushi was like "no, not worried" when he heard that Gugu was missing. But poor Gugu....... his old boss was such a kind man but the others are not....... The last moment of "bakemono banzai" made me smile - especially Fushi wolf smiling was so precious - but of course the ending theme started in the very next second and that chair........that friggin chair...............

Is this author sadistic or something? Creating such wonderful characters and then killing them off? v.v I mean, I was expecting someone dying again but my heart still can't handle it. I cried so much 😭😭😭 And I was so happy that Gugu finally told Rean the truth and everything *sigh* Now a new journey awaits for Fushi and I hope he can grow stronger after everything that happened. And I hope Gugu is gonna take good care of March now and will be her older brother. I was actually hoping that before I saw her ghost appear >.< Aw man, not like I was already sad enough before I watched this episode, my heart needs a break.

Pioran and Fushi are always fun together. He’s developing so well. That creator of his is enigmatic and kind of annoying. Ohh I knew that girl was up to no good as soon as she grabbed them. Ugh. This is going to get really ugly methinks. They probably want us to feel sorry for her but she just put the two of them at risk so I’m highly unamused.
