The way that his eyes lit up when he watched them... and the way they showed the routine. I can definitely get into this. The contrast between their personalities and the fluid grace/synchronization of their routines is a thing of beauty. The fact that he’s getting so into it right away has me stoked!

Aaaaaaaaaaaa I forgot to post here. I watched the episode a few days back. Really liked it but forgot specific things I noticed about the show (the mix of Kageyama and Minamino is getting me too hyped, though) But minasan, you should definitely check out this inter-high performance. He’s so bubbly and vivacious. And Minato is so tsundere or just awkward? I can’t tell but they’re great. Then watching the whole team bond... I can’t get enough. Of course the effects that they use to show the emotions and visualizations for the tumbling are excellent. There’s a team of six now. I wonder when we’re going to find out more about the Frozen Ace’s family life. It’s obviously a thing.

Ohh a training camp. And our guy meets a prodigy. This was lovely. They played together and he learned from him and everything. Then the performance. I dunno. I feel like Shiro high has a “power” vibe abd our school is more elegance and flow. They’re totally different. The camp is going to be hella fun. Our protagonist is a bit of a prodigy himself methinks.

He was definitely embarrassed. But the girl went away too easily, so maybe a relative? I loved the senpais' shopping, though. They were geeking out and being teenagers xD I am enjoying this part of the anime very much. Futaba's new nickname cracked me up. Double Leaves and Fallen Leaves sound too similar in my language. Jora Pata and Jhora Pata . I rofled xD But the moment our Fallen Leaves stopped falling was so beautifullllll :

Oh my. The training camp did not start out well at all but thankfully they had an awakening and then bonded quite well. The realization that they had to stop limiting themselves and strive for more was perfection. That was a great party and I can’t wait to see their routine come together. *excitement builds*

Blah blah bonding, fight rivals, etc. This episode was all about two things: that freaking guard ghost!! (Did you see him pop back up at the end all creepy like?!) and our boy proclaiming that he’s going to compete with the two badasses—maybe three if you count the tension between those two that he had to cut with his statement. Just saying.

With all the practice, Futaba froze up and stressed out. Luckily coach had just the right advice to give immediately preceding the match to help him soar. Enough so that he got noticed by the rival. Looks like it’s going to get more exciting and complicated from here on out. Onward to regionals!

Oh no. Midterms are coming up and we learn about a promise made by the team thanks to their captain that they can’t fail or they’ll lose gym privileges. We also see the young coach and how he met his wife/founded the team. Great stuff. So inspiring. I’ve got a crush on him now, NGL. Looks like Makoto is getting serious. Oh my.

Misato is being a cute roommate... while blondie bear is deep in thought. Then suddenly there’s an injury and a suspicious coach? Wowsers. This was both a funny and emotional episode. I enjoyed it. Just when we thought we’d made some serious progress (though how oblivious are they really?!), another disaster strikes. What’s so traumatic about that move, Misato?!

In this world that makes you wanna flip a table every other second, Backflip is the only flip I enjoy wholeheartedly <3 > We also see the young coach and how he met his wife/founded the team. The history was sooooooo great!!!!!!!!!!!!! Uni-student coach was such a Yuratchka xD angry kiddo in black hoodie : It's really awesome how the story covered the sepai's part in the founding history along with coach's. The time he spent applying from school to school was .... so sad. I'm glad he found Shichigahama and co. *cries a bucket* > Misato is being a cute roommate But Onagawa-senpai wants Shoutaro because Twin Leaves is more fun However, our Meticulous Ace and Twin Leaves became Spy Leaves and Spy Ace xD Onagawa senpai is gonna have a trauma of Misapon calling out to him about his leg : : : > Then suddenly there’s an injury and a suspicious coach? Wowsers. Coach was so supportive the whole time. He totally understands the need to come to terms with oneself about what one wants to do. His wife definitely says that a lot And the way the whole team supported Onagawa-senpai - getting his chopsticks and even feeding him - it made me cry like Watari. The bond that this team shares is just so precious. I love it so much. > What’s so traumatic about that move, Misato?! Maybe it's time for our Kuchibeta Ace to let off some steam :

Aww, this one was so precious. We got the backstory, the bonding with coach Misato and Futaba. Then they nailed the move at the end! Plus it was an important life lesson too. I’m all for it.

This episode was adoooooooraaaaaaaaaaableeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee The coach is so awesome! He didn't just prioritize perfecting the move for the competition, he also thought about the club's future. I'm glad that Misapon was having a hard time because of how he has lived so far and not any severe trauma. But I couldn't stop watching that Tan-sasa-nin-mido dance. I'm still chanting it. Them being restless was predictable but seriously, umm.. that box clearly hit him. Shotarou didn’t hear about coach and his injury? Or what? Because hiding it was dumb. I feel really badly for him but at the same time....

He's been doing sports for so long. He should know about taking care of his body. My guess is that it didn't hurt when he first twisted his wrist but even if it didn't, he should have taken precaution ;A; Also, that nightmare. It was shown so, so well. I got chills....

look here now—they showed the performance but cut it off before the score?! I just… *sigh* Fine. Whatever. Like it was a good episode or something, I guess. Blah blah emotions and gymnastics, etc. I’m salty right now over that ending.

> but cut it off before the score?! I felt betrayed. It felt like a door slammed on my face!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway The performances were really good!!! I especially liked the performance of Mashiro's team (forgot the school name). However.....the camera angles were really.....something. The view moved around so much that I didn't get a complete sense of the whole choreography. It was even worse for our Ao High boys. I couldn't feel the team synchronization at all, which must have been really awesome given the complicated routine they planned. Other than that, I loved the whole episode. The team agonizing over Twin Leaves' injury, our dearest captain fretting and trying to take responsibility, and our coach being a "bad" coach - I love them sho much T^T T_T
