OMG... the inside look into their lives though. They all look so shiny and cute. Benimaru with the ikemen problems. And that whole massive debate over the outfit. Not to mention the dancing plus the huge kerfuffle over the celebration. Everything slime related is so much fun. I also lived that Rimuru got scared when they talked about how tasty slimes were. Oh yeah—that kitchen knife was stupid sharp!! And how precious that the dandelion got repaired.

So I just watched the first episode and it looks like this is basically a compilation of short stories. This is gonna be a nice way to pass some time while waiting for part 2 of season 2. It was nice and refreshing to see some short stories about different characters from the story. They're pretty cute and funny. Some of my favourites were the one with Shuna's knife, the one where Ranga wanted to make Rimuru proud with his new attack and the one where Shuna acts like Benimaru's mom xD But there was none that I disliked, they were all enjoyable. One thing I was wondering about though. So in episode 12 of season 2 Rimuru went back to the cave he reincarated in to free Veldora. But now we found out that the Lizard people live there? I guess it was lucky that none of them were there at that time. But then again, since this is a spinoff maybe it wasn't even considered story wise. PS: That was also a hilarious short story, I legit felt embarassed for them though :

I guess it was lucky that none of them were there at that time. But then again, since this is a spinoff maybe it wasn't even considered story wise. Well they’d been shown being in charge of the healing potions, etc when what’s her face was spying on the village initially so they definitely were living there during season 2. I think he chose a time when they were all out fighting or something to do so. Also, he needed to bring him back to a familiar spot, methinks. As for the rest, I forgot to mention Ranga but he was fricking adorbz!! Such a good boy!! And the mom/embarrassing thing was def tops of my list. I laughed so loudly. ^_^. Really no bad moments there.

Aww Rimuru got bored lol. Gobta playing hooky was too much though. Then he played the multiplication game for amusement and that was soo cute. I thought he’d jump for joy when it was time to plant the fields. I can’t believe they went through the entire time without including the Dryad!! Epic fail. Those work pants outfits were super cute thought. I don’t blame the brothers for being excited about them. Gobta telling the Dryad she was fat though—oof.

I like that this episode more or less revolved around the same theme. Taking care of the fields is very important work and it looks like most of them had a lot of fun with it! Except the poor Dryad who was left out :/ What I liked the most about this episode was seeing how much Geld cares about the kids! That was so cute. We even got more more Benimaru/Shuna sibling scenes.

Those sunflowers were ridiculous. The nabe was cooked by the resident poison specialist of course! Poor Benimaru lol. Ranga and Shion fighting over affection was great. Ranga is best pup. Those sunflowers were super creepy though I did love them watching the fight lol. I’m so glad that at least some of the tomatoes survived. He was true to form and fed the child, too. Such a gentle giant.

Tomatoes are especially sensitive crops in general. So the plants didn’t get the proper environmental conditions and this withered and died (too much sun, not enough moisture and inhospitable soil). You especially need good moisture when first transplanting to establish roots. If the soil is bad, nothing else matters. Could’ve had incompatible crops/plants grown there previously.

the conversation with Veldora and Ifrit about intelligence versus level of clothing... I spent the whole thing waiting for him to ask about getting dressed or ask if Ifrit thought he was stupid lol. Then when Rimuru coyly asked Shion to go for a walk—OMG I honestly expected her to have a meltdown. I’m impressed that she could still remember that the others had asked for her attention as well. That’s focus becoming of a ruler’s secretary right there. Soei tormenting his poor assistant because he cares. Oh my. It was interesting seeing that side of him. He’s a sadist. Gabiru and Benimaru bonding at the bar though. My heart.

New episode finally posted. A summer festival! They duplicated everything! The furry tentacled monsters in the takoyaki though... and the crazy strong koi. Those Rimuru masks were creepy but oni masks would’ve been creepy too I guess. Poor Rimuru thinking they wanted to eat him. And the debacle over the boobs—oof. Ranga and the takoyaki plus all of them with the fireworks, so precious!! I wanted to comfort them. Gabiru had a rough episode—first Soei stabs his statue then his performance was missed. Shion trying to access purple empress—kowaii. I knew that little goblin girl was gonna get another chance to throw lol. So sweet. Treyni’s stall though... I mean lol. Rimuru has his hands full planning parties now that they’ve gotten a taste. And he gave himself a break from his worries for a little bit at least. I wonder if he’s ever going to speak up about the “girly clothes” about which he was sighing.

Rimuru in a bunny girl outfit lmao. Aww Shizu haunting the place was cute. All the stories of people’s pasts. Benimaru—can I keep him? Soei doing stand up; what I would pay to see that lol. We’re the Dwargon leaders really discussing the best ways to eat slimes? Kowaii. Claymon looks a lot less scary when he’s baking lol.

Ohh a Milim episode. So much foreshadowing for season 2. And the Benimaru carrot thing was precious. The way she got everybody into the idea of being a demon lord by saying the random attack names thing lol. Looks like there’s more Milim to come maybe. Good stuff.

Harvest time! Those potatoes looked so good. I always want a sweet potato when I see them roasted. Yum. And Milim’s final one looked like it had a face. Too bad about all the weight gain. Rimuru is just as awkward as ever I see. Too bad about the scale lol. We’re they really feeding Milim raw sweet potatoes? Eek.
