Oh well that explains the comment in the other thread. ^_^ Moving on, now that I’m awake, if a bit tipsy, I can post about the episode. I forgot to after making the thread. It was cool how they used Gen’s desire to procrastinate to summarize the previous events. We got to see Tsukasa again!! And if I’m not mistaken, he found his sister? I didn’t see the flower necklace on her from the flashback so I could be wrong but it looked like her. I wonder what adult’s hand she was holding. I mean the adult is long gone so it’s irrelevant but I’m curious. And there were even more people next to him than just Hyoga. Yay for new characters! They made freeze dried food! Gen’s face when Senku said space food though—to think he can still be surprised lol. Im going to have to try out that freeze drying method myself actually. I’m super curious about it. Gen and Senku make such a devious duo. It’s downright awful. In the Aww inspiring way. Chrome bursting in on their planning session was great. The scary part is that the first two were in sync without the details that were added for his benefit. He jumped in and then expanded his role to become more of an accomplice because he considers himself a true team member and friend. How great is that? Of course Kinro wanted the ramen and was upfront about wanting to help for that reason but his view of Yuzuhira and Taiju was pretty fanciful and showed that he actually respects Senku a lot. They even slipped in a moment of Senku nostalgia with the space ramen. That was a nice touch. This episode had comedy, review, action (the sonic bombs were great!) and suspense—it’s time for the war to get started and will they be able to pull off this con/scheme? I’m excited! ^_^

Gotta agree with Weeby that this was a perfect review/summary episode. It felt so well done that even if new fans started with season 2, they would be able to follow the plot without having to watch season 1 (can watch it/catch up later). Hopefully they can fit everything into this season, but this level of planning definitely implies great things so I think I've raised my expectations for this season now. It had to be rushed over, but Chrome thinking there was a third female in the room for the secret meeting was a gag that I'm glad they could squeeze in. Hopefully the battle team was able to create enough of a distraction that the Gen/Chrome/Magma infiltration team can set up the cell phone. Man...there's just so much content that I forgot about so I really hope they can keep this up and jam it all in without it seeming rushed.

I watched this episodeeee I'm loving Gen more and more with time. That wicked plan he came up with! The villagers would be a bit shocked, though. Chrome's support was precious T^T The scenes where Senku and Ginko planted the bombs under the cover of snow - adorable But my anticipation is only growing. Maybe I'll watch episode 2 a little late so that I can jump into episode 3 in less than a week :
