So there was a lot that happened but I’m going to focus on just a few things because I’m exhausted. Langa and the whole “Japanese is hard” thing after the golem upgrade was funny (that whole interaction). Also, just wow, it’s like a love triangle between him, Reki and Adam now. The way Langa is driven and pulled into skating the way he does is kind of awesomeness. I’m really intrigued to see how this plays out.

An onsen trip that ended up including everyone? How did Shadow end up being the responsible adult? : Nice that Cherry treated them all to dinner and Langa got to play at the beach. I’m so pleased that Miya played the kid to cockblock Joe. That was the funniest thing ever. Those mud creatures were hilarious. They really should’ve done more research before the trip. Adam and the police lady really have an iffy relationship. That’s going to get more interesting.

I’m not crying, you’re crying. This episode was painful to watch. Poor Reki and Langa. They’re having a hard time maintaining their relationship a d it hurts. I also hurt for Adam’s secretary. Let’s hope things get better in the next episode.

Episode 6 This episode was too awesome. Took me 45 minutes to finish watching it because I kept replaying the scenes because they were too awesome. > How did Shadow end up being the responsible adult? That scene where Langa, Miya and Reki latched onto him and the manager sent him off as the guardian was sooooooooo funny xD > Langa got to play at the beach. Langa was tooooootally mesmerized by the beach. His scenes were hilarious and adorable xD > Miya played the kid to cockblock Joe. That was the funniest thing ever. Oh god that was H I L A R I O U S. Langa is skating really well but he’s not feeling it because he doesn’t have Reki to be there for him. Meanwhile Adam is getting challenged by his secretary, Snake, who taught him to skate. Things are heating up. It looks like the abuse from the aunts has warped Adam to the state that he’s in now. Reki is trying to come around but is it in time to make a difference? Who will win this beef between Joe and Langa? This cliffhanger is rude!!

Langa beat Joe! But only after Reki put the fire back inside him by cheering him on. I love that he used Joe’s power against him though. That was brilliantly done. Too bad that he broke his board and Reki decided to leave for good afterwards. Even worse or equally as bad? Was that Cherry got beaten the way that he did by Adam. Sadness for sure. On to the next.

Ohh his servant is sad because skating isn’t appropriate for Adam? So he feels like he needs to take it away from him. How sad. Aww yay. Langa and Reki got back together. Poor Shadow and Miya though. They had it rough this episode. Talk about an emotional rollercoaster. Of course Adam wants Reki to beef with him. We all saw that setup coming a mile/kilometer whatever away.

The final beef was breathtaking. Adam’s outfit, the skating, the emotions, just everything the audience interactions—I loved it all. The very end was so cute. Langa skated so well and seeing Adam regain his feelings was just lovely. Judgement this one is finished please move it out of currently airing. Thanks

I finally finished Sk8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damm. I gotta say, it was one helluva ride!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved it infinitely. I will probably rewatch it in the future. Reki making up with Langa was the sweetest thing everrrrrrrr. I'm definitely gonna do their infinity fist bump next time I meet my anime pals. Then Reki doing his best against Ad*m was sooooo awesome. Like, that piece of shit was beating the hell out of Reki in the middle of the match and that wasn't out of boundary. Like, this S is really lawless. Ainosuke was making skating as lawless as his father believed it to be. I'm proud of Reki for getting over that and pulling some badass tricks. If his wheels hadn't come off, he might have even won! And he lost only by a few centimeters. The fight he put up got the crowds riled up and he was just "the redhead next to Langa" anymore. He was REKI!!!!!!!!!!! Piece of shit Ad*m beating Cherry was sooooooooo terrible. After seeing that, Reki and Langa were able to be cautious but Cherryyyyyy. Ugh.... Well, Ad*m finally coming around was good and all but Tadashi, are you okay in the head after all this time????? I kinda feel bad for the detective who was waiting to get evidence against Ainosuke all this time. Politics. Bleh. But everything else about the ending was sooooooooooo precious. After that build up, this ending was totally fitting. I can talk loads about Manager Oka trying to be a guiding adult, Reki's family being supportive, Langa's family being supportive, Shadow getting his heart broken but being with new friends, Miya making up with his old friend, the music, the animation..... but I'll just leave it be. *content sigh* > Adam’s outfit, the skating, the emotions, just everything the audience interactions—I loved it all. I know right! When he went to the tailor's, I thought he would order a wedding suit but no. It was a grim reaper! But it was hella funny when he screamed about Langa leaving him from the zone when Langa actually fell down the cliff because of him. #dramaqueen
