It’s a mecha show!! I loved how she got sucked into their world and was like “this is VR, right?” Poor thing. But the effects on their transformations were wicked. It’s like they purposefully gave us full views for anyone wanting to cosplay them lol. She really wasn’t getting the difference in world though. But they didn’t have to drive off a cliff basically to prove it to her. Will they be alright?!

So that jump turned into them going to an onsen? I mean.... okay. And it’s got wild animals who aren’t afraid of humans within it. Her emotional reaction to not going home was more realistic than the lack of reaction before though I suppose that could’ve been shock. The notion of them protecting the village/the failure and pullout of the troops, etc was a nice addition. I like the external element for the conflict. And the character who was clearly connected to the dead Armor Girl is a good touch as well. Though wait, was that him at the end being all diabolical?

The base is under attack—the enemy has emotions; the glasses guy was working on a secret weapon with the core of the Mimesis in order to try and get revenge for the girl he loved. Kind of trite but he at least died redeeming himself? I’m glad that the new girl didn’t magically know how to shoot well. Like they put her in a position to be the key part of their plan and she’s like Umm excuse me but how does this work? Thankfully, it wouldn’t have worked even if she’d been a good shot but yeah you don’t just miraculously became a great shot because you’re given a rifle. A little bit of realism is nice. Though they have said she’s played shooter games and they gave her good advice do she’s going to improve I’m sure.

Wait, I know I’m starting from the end here but Nate’s name is Lucifer?! Did I hear that correctly? So Otacross is the guy who made the LBX figures in her home world it seems. He’s a wily old guy with tons of skills. Let’s see what all the upgrades turn out to be. I’m glad that she got her school trip experience though. Onward to Kyoto and let the adventures continue.

So... they all really wanted to see Kyoto. Man were they surprised by what they found. They got some sightseeing in and then discovered a major weapon to aid them in their fight. Followed by the biggest sight of Mimesis they’ve seen. Kinkaku and Ginkaku were actually Mimesis?! DUUDE.

Whoa. I really liked that the little old lady was a badass armor girl too! And too bad about the miscommunication causing everyone to use their weapon mode but it looked super cool. Good thing Nate pulled through. Then Shooter ended up taking them through a time warp and blowing up the Mimesis along with the bridge. Whoops. The armor girl and the spirits of her comrades watched them go by... how mysterious. What are the Mimesis and what is that weapon? I’m so confused.

It took a lot of eating but we finally got to the bottom of Suzuno’s issues. (Can’t believe she was actually going to leave!) Good job on Riko for sticking it out and talking to her. Nate’s reboot was special. I don’t know what to do with him sometimes. We still need to figure out how to activate the SWITCH and take care of all the mimesis.. can’t believe they’re too chubby for their LBX’s now. What are they gonna do?!

A pudding fight turned into a trauma flashback? Looks like we’re learning more about each of the girls. Poor Kyoka. At least we’ve learned about her and she was given the chance to get her revenge with support. Looks like this attack might take it out. Fingers crossed that it works and they all make it through.

Okay that was a lot going on. They kept at it and power forward was super reckless time and again. In fact, she even got miss injured out there being reckless with her but she was right about the survivors needing to do their part and in the end, they all managed to pull through—somehow. Guess they’re going to barely squeak past in time? Hopefully?

So much pressure, conflict and drama from the higher ups and military brass. I’m glad that Nate has the team’s best interests at heart. Things seem to have worked out for the best currently. Onward and let them save the world and themselves in the process.

They’re supposed to fight this epic battle after thinking they failed with the SWITCH delivery? It might send them to the world of the Mimesis and the government was going to keep it a secret? At least Otacross is trying to protect them. Wait, did Nate just send destruct in order to save them and buy time?!

Okay the way that ended was just great. So fricking precious. I have no complaints. I didn’t expect much from this but it was a cute show and it had fun mecha stuffs in it. This one is finished Judgement Marco Polo please move it out of currently airing. Thanks.
