> Um...rather than doing justice...I think they're just aiming to bring the sport to the spotlight? People who might never have tried skating before would also be interested now. But yeah...can't really tell how the athletes will feel about it. To be honest, I think that silver hair (forgot his name...Shinozaki?) looks enough like an idol. He could have done both I get that that’s the idols’ goal but Prince wants to beat Shinozaki so they’d need to be excellent...
> Prince wants to beat Shinozaki so they’d need to be excellent... The beginners can't get THAT good. I'll throw something if they do (proclaiming this safely because I know Shinozaki is the best /o/)
> The beginners can't get THAT good. I'll throw something if they do (proclaiming this safely because I know Shinozaki is the best /o/) hence my point about the insult.
> hence my point about the insult. oooh I see what you were trying to say there. Yes yes, totally. Mayhaps that's also for the sake of entertainment. A little rivalry stirs up more conversation and the other athletes will also be like "eh punk come again" so win win
Whoo hoo training camp time! Wait, is there something going on between ponytail reserve guy and the step brother? That looked like flirting to me. Moving on. Maeshima has a weakness in the short program. Fascinating. Tomo is quiet but a great skater. All this competition amongst them is healthy and seems to be good for the team. I was shocked at that challenge but I’m glad that Ken learned Tomo’s skills and is now a better team player. Looks like they’re going to really kick ass!
> Wait, is there something going on between ponytail reserve guy and the step brother? That looked like flirting to me. WHATTTTT xD Also, Mochizuki senpai is the manager, I think. He got injured and can't skate anymore, so he's supporting them.
> WHATTTTT xD Also, Mochizuki senpai is the manager, I think. He got injured and can't skate anymore, so he's supporting them. He’s on reserve but I do t know that he’s officially a manager. He was treating Shinozaki brother as a manager earlier though. But Mochi distinctly talked about how handsome he was when he was having deep thoughts. It was cute how otouto was all like “oh shut up” in response.
> But Mochi distinctly talked about how handsome he was when he was having deep thoughts. oh that one :
The competition began! I love that Ken and Shinozaki wanted the same souvenir lol. And what’s up with our boi and his crazy score predictions? That program really was boring. Technically good but no fire at all. I’m so glad that they decided to take a risk. Hopefully they can polish the program now that they’ve qualified.
> You mean Episode 6? xD Almost gave me a heart attack like "which episode 4 did I watch then?" xD
> You mean Episode 6? xD Almost gave me a heart attack like "which episode 4 did I watch then?" xD Sure that one... typos happen... I had a LOT of episodes to post about and got my numbers mixed up. My bad.
> That program really was boring. Technically good but no fire at all. They're not showing us enough skating. I don't want glimpses of the performance. In a skating anime, I want to see the skating. Ugh. The 1st episode had given me hope. Ep 6 gave me despair :
oya oya. They’ve lost faith in their boi Sasugai. Sad times. Ohh the way they showed their resolve each of them in their own ways this episode was fantastic! I’m so here for this. The coach is really being a coach and Sasugai finally opened up to the rest of them. Things are coming together! > They're not showing us enough skating. I don't want glimpses of the performance. In a skating anime, I want to see the skating. Ugh. The 1st episode had given me hope. Ep 6 gave me despair It’s just like with Taiso Samurai. They’re going to show you the good stuff. It’s about the relationships and stuff too. The point they were making was the developments and growth that they made in the decisions regarding their programs.
> It’s about the relationships and stuff too. The point they were making was the developments and growth that they made in the decisions regarding their programs. Okay good but I also want to see the skating : is there any shounen/sports anime without focus on personal and team development? But this is a skating anime, so I want to see the skating too =.= Also, what competition did Himekawa's team win? Or was the reporter talking about landing first place in this first part of Grand Prix?
> Also, what competition did Himekawa's team win? Or was the reporter talking about landing first place in this first part of Grand Prix? The second competition of the Grand Prix, the first one that they entered. They stated it in the episode a few times.
> They stated it in the episode a few times. Yes but where is it? : Show us the performances. Not just talk about them. : Ugh.
> Yes but where is it? Show us the performances. Not just talk about them. Ugh. You’re asking for a longer anime...
> You’re asking for a longer anime... YES : : : :
They finally battled Shinozaki’s team. The skating was beautiful. Sasugai got them all fired up and it was amazing. The gall of St. Clavis to change their routine like that though. It proves that even though they won, Shinozaki really lost by letting Maeshima get to him and letting himself get worked up like that. I will admit that the sword dance was cool though. I’m thrilled that Inodai didn’t get discouraged and is more excited than ever moving forward.
I have a feeling that the Oji has really won over Maeshima with his antics. And the guy that Maeshima modeled his teamwork skating after is concerned as well. He was giving him serious looks after watching that performance. Is Maeshima going to mess up the finals due to being influenced? So much can happen next time. I have a feeling that Himekawa, Maeshima, Noa/Oji and some others are going to end up on a team together to take down Shinozaki in the end. I could be wrong though. It just feels like it’s leading towards that.
