So since we just got out sparkling new Christmas Calendar on the forum I wanted to know if any of you have some cool christmas/advent calendars of your own? I'll start off with showing my own! I have two calendars this year. The first one is a simple one filled with small chocolates. It got a cute manga print and was a free giveaway with one of my manga orders. My second calendar is filled with packets that contain sweets from all over the world! I can't wait to open them all and will definitely share what's inside. Wowwow your advent calendar looks so cute! And i've never seen bagged versions of advent calendars thats so creative! (and the bags are super super cute too) Is that from a subscription box? If it is, I definitely gotta participate next year! For me, I've never done advent calendars before haha so I have nothing to input. Maybe I can go buy one this week because seeing Jacky's made me want one too xD

You open one door every day in December, much like our forum calendar. I think the most common ones have chocolate inside but nowadays there's so many different versions.

I got an advent calendar yesterday!! : It was such a coincidence because I went grocery shopping and on the way to the cashier, there was one advent calendar left! It felt like fate so I bought it right away xDD I'm a few days late but that it also means I can eat 3 chocolates today

I haven't tasted any of them yet because, I still have some of the first chocolate bar left actually xD #2 was a small bag of potato chips with bolognese flavour which sounds more italian than french xD #3 included not just one but two chocolate bars : The left one is from Ireland and it mentions something about chocolate, nougat and caramel in one bar. The right one is from Bulgaria and appears to be some kind of cornflake or cereal thing with chocolate in the middle.

I want to share 4-6 : So this one is some Italian Biscuits with chocolate filling. riofriz do you know them? I haven't tried them yet but they look really tasty! Day 5 are some kind of marshmallows covered with chocolate. They're from Spain. And day 6 os Milka chocolate from Russia. White bubble chocolate with hazelnuts, sounds interesting. I had thst chocolate before but without the hazelnuts so it's a bit different.

Latest taste I got, is Tiikerin päiväuni, which means tigers daydream. One of my fave teas.

I really like how the chocolates they gave you aren't basic but they all have some unique addition to them like the marshmallow one and the biscuits. : I'm jealous! As an update for my advent calendar, the chocolates tasted awful : It's fun opening them and seeing the chocolate designs but afterwards, they can go in the trash xD storm chaser Tea advent calendar?!! : The boxing is so pretty and it's so creative of them to put the dates like that xD

Christina Choi Lol, my coworker says he loves the awful tasting chocolate calendars.. I dunno what to do with that anymore. : : Yeah I really like tea, and since the calendar has many usual tea's and some christmas tea's. It is fun. :

Christina Choi I’m the same way. I like the basic simple German advent calendars with the boring chocolates that don’t taste like much of anything because nostalgia. storm chaser that tea calendar is amazing. Maybe I should look into ordering one next year. I love tea. Though I’ll likely get my beer one again instead of skipping it. sweetjacky yours looks amazing and super fancy! I’m gaining more weight just looking at the pictures lol Maybe I could make myself an advent calendar for next year... if I build a frame with little compartments that open and close, I could paint a picture on it and it would be reusable from year to year. I could customize it and make it a 20 day calendar to count to winter solstice... or I could take a shadow box kind of frame and convert it into compartments. Then paint on the glass/add glass that I have to the front of it. So many possibilities... the pictures could change from year to year maybe? Sorry. That’s not quite the purpose of this thread. :
