Treasure Tree Adam and Possibilities for the Elbaf Arc

So I probably only mentioned this in manga discussions, but inspired by Yuz's desire to give more love to the mythical and potentially magical trees, this is a short and sweet theory on Adam. From it's introduction back with Franky, we knew that the price for wood from Adam is expensive. If we assume Adam is massive, just like the Tree of Knowledge in Ohara, then quantity is not the problem. It is accessibility that creates the market price. So now for potentially why getting even a piece of Adam wood is so difficult. Despite the action shown in the Grand Line and the New World, the Giants pirate crew led by Dorry and Brogy was the most feared in the world at the time. If the strongest Giants can move at high speeds, this keeps Dorry and Brogy relevant as New World fighters even now. Even if we take this out, very few people in the world (percentage wise at least) are able to survive going to Elbaf with pieces of Adam wood. The anime tries to downplay it, but the manga shows branches behind the text box. It is small, but we see white and the outline of the trunk of the tree above a relatively "small" branch in the manga panel. Since it is the land of Giants, it makes sense that the tree of Adam is also giant (relative to the tree of knowledge and Eve). On a side tangent, on the official map There is a GIANT island that spans the entire width of the Calm Belt on one side (bottom right corner). There is probably zero coincidence why Water 7/Enies Lobby are close to this giant island. And now we know where Elbaf is! So the visualization makes it clear that backtracking is needed for the "Elbaf arc" to take place on Elbaf. However, I personally think the Elbaf arc revolves around the reformation of the original Giants pirate crew. We likely get more info on the rulers of Elbaf too, so all the juicy stuff will still take place. Plus, I really like the idea of Dorry and Brogy coming to Luffy's aid out of the blue which rubs it in Big Mom's face. It makes sense for both of them to have some sort of negativity towards the person that ravaged their home. This part feels like a legit theory to me, so nice bow on top. So this is probably the main discussion point: What do you think the Elbaf arc will contain/revolve around? Will we backtrack to what looks like the physical location of Elbaf? Who will be the allies from the Giant side? Could this come after Big Mom's defeat?

I highly doubt there exist an Island connecting SB and GL. Also the Island have to be much smaller by looking at the official map of the GL.

I actually do like the idea of Adam being at Elbaf. Usopp having been the one to notice Eve and make the connection to Adam, I think it'd be fitting to include in "his" arc. Interestingly enough, I mention the mythical tree of Norse mythology in my theory, Yggdrasil. Perhaps the giants of Elbaf view it with similar beliefs and revere Adam in the same way fishmen do Eve. If such is the case, on top of their possible bias towards humans due to big Mom and their belief of associating honor with strength and courage in the face of dangers ( like Vikings ), I assume a "brave warrior of the sea" would need to earn their trust and be guided to Adam. And we can all assume who that will be. As for the island's location, I'm really not sure about it. Ableit it is the land of giants that no one would lightly traverse but I think I have to go with Nessos on this one and doubt that any island would connect the Grand Line to any other sea and bypass the calm belt altogether. I never took this map too literally and just thought of it as a general model to get the point of how the lop pose worked across. The sizes and shapes of the island all look too generic. This is one has seemed them most accurate to me: And it depicts Elbaf as being roughly...1.5x times bigger than Wano? Seems adequate to me. It's also worth noting that by taking into account the sizes of Ohara and the presumed Elbaf, the case is that either what we saw of Elbaf is just a part of the whole island or that Adam is actually even more massive than the tree of knowledge and can be considered gigantic even by the standard of giants.

This was also used to explain why Luffy never met one of the other Supernovas before Sabaody. Thus either the Gransline have to be much wider or the islands much smaller then most fanmade Maps. These only Take Luffys path into account.

I completely agree with there being more islands to have at least 7 paths of ofc, Maruko's statement to Inuarashi and Nekomamushi is testament to how wide the One Piece world really is. But I just think the Grand Line is simply bigger, not that the islands are as small as the log pose map would suggest. Even the shapes are too generic there. And I doubt Elbaf or Wano would be as small as little garden. I agree the size of the Island compared to each other fits almost perfectly (Especially Jaya + Skypia as big as Alabasta and Wano. Maybe Water 7 a little too big) But my point would be the Island are a way too big in general. Keep the islands the same size and make the ocean at least 100 times larger and then we would slowly get closer to the look of the OP World

Tbh even 1000 times wouldn't sound too far fetched to me. According to Marco there are at least 100.000 islands out there. I don't know how literally we can take that but at least we get the gist of how vast the OP world really is.

I know the posted images is an updated version (all the labels and images to reflect a scene of each island), but it is based on official from a databook from what I'm remembering back from OPF. I don't know how literal you want to get with "official" and "canon", but the original version is from Toei. Even the topography of mountains is new since I remember just an unlabeled layout focusing on East Blue. There's an official timeline that goes back 10,000 years in the past too. This is one has seemed them most accurate to me: Details (the rough locations and probably for me the details associated with the shape of the Red Line) had to come from someplace. There was nothing until the original version popped up. It's been so long I couldn't find the blank/unlabeled version. We can definitely take the rough locations and rough sizes. The visualization of the Red line encompassing all the edges doesn't feel right since it makes the scaling when applied to a globe inaccurate. The small visualization of the globe was included from the start. So unless a fan really went out of there way to create something super elaborate that is also highly accurate...this original version is at the very least what stemmed all the other versions. I've never seen anything other than the East Blue focus, because that's the only confirmed locations in the plot. I'm also skewed by not seeing much outside of OPF/VCC. By just the mountain range, the scale is completely different. These only Take Luffys path into account. Literal on the start, I have to 100% agree. Contextually, it does not make sense that all of the key poneglyphs will be on Luffy's path. And this is where the original is either an extremely accurate fanmade work because it already takes into account the massive amount of spacing out needed to keep the "globe view" accurate. All of these "flat" versions are astronomically condensed. 1/4th of the globe is being condensed into one panel. Moreover, since we can only confirm Luffy's path, this is why the original only has these (vs. including all 7 paths since Oda will never actually create an entire map like the anime visualized). There's a reason why Nami's maps are only island specific since her dream is to have only those (since it is impossible to actually know their exact coordination unless Vegapunk creates GPS technology). > Yes, I'd quite agree with that.
