Half of the Crown information : Type : Webtoon Chapters : 10 (at 15th november 2020) Status : Ongoing Genres : Action, drama Synopsis : Penny Chiu gets a fresh new start at a new school, but ends up being stuck with tutoring a seemingly problem student, Issei Devlin. They both soon realize their very survival depends on how well they're able to get along, caught in a battle between "angels" and "demons." https://www.webtoons.com/en/challenge/half-of-the-crown/ Chaud's thoughts after 10 chapters : Very interesting and dark beginning (the prologues) which explains the past and reason of penny's transfer. A start that keeps you hooked. The art is fantastic, even with the action later on the chapters the quality stays top notch. In short: a new one on the subscribe list!

I love this WEBTOON! My only complaint is that it doesn’t come out quickly enough (then again that might help me stay up to date on it lol). But you can watch the artist draw the work itself on Twitch, so that’s super fun. 😍

I also tried this! I had started reading this right after seeing Azumaferi-san's introduction post, but the first appearance of the ghost on the preview 1 chapter got me all : : : and I had to put it off for later. Now I've read until top-ten-webtoon-betrayal by Jace and damm. I thought he was a nice guy. Especially, when he first noticed Penny reading that book and even called his own friends over, I was really surprised. It was so different from regular lonely-bookwork-MC-who-can-see-ghosts stories; usually, our MCs get ridiculed for being alone and reading books. I was so happy to see that Penny actually made friends because of the books! But ugh you moron. Actually, can't really blame him because teenage emotions are complicated and it was bound to get awkward but even his parents know about it??? That was ... not right.

I like the body switch mechanic. I wonder if the entire group will switch bodies with one another. It reminds me of Yamada Kun to 7 nin no majo manga.

I finally started to read this webtoon! Just binged all the chapters that are out so far. I'm really liking the art and the story is interesting so far. Eli is probably my favorite character right now, he's hilarious xD AzumaFeri keep up the great work! :

Is it just me or does the teacher have a bit of a sinister feel to him? Like he’s thinking or planning a zillion things that he’s not telling you? I feel kind of bad for the kids. Eli and Penny are both getting put through the ringer. Meanwhile the teacher is just kind of enjoying the situation with a shit eating smirk on his face. Or that’s my impression. It’s not bad but it makes me wonder about him. I also want to know what’s going to happen next. Now that we know why Eli couldn’t heal Issei and why Penny was told to move in, at least sort of, the next mystery gets to unfold.
