The vehicular waste made by the ever running factories of the city was discarded into the outskirts of the city. This area would come to be known as the Wasteland. Here, groups of raiders, scavengers and warlords were constantly at war over resources and vehicle parts. Olympus tolerated their presence as long as they kept the chaos in the Wastelands.
