Wow that alien is pretty darned cute!! Is this a legit love triangle between the two girls and the alien? I can’t even... I mean, is that the power of donuts? And is Shinamara just scared of being alone? That’s rather sad, really. It’s not about Adachi at all? Or she hasn’t realized the difference yet. And the childhood friends... are they going to develop into something? There was so much going on in this episode! I’m still bummed about the whole “I’d get over it in three days” thing. That’s harsh.
Also, the art though—that alien is so glowy and shimmery. Does no one see this?! The ending was so poignant. It does not bode well for their future. Just saying.
I’m glad the episode finally worked on Funimation. It wouldn’t play before. I was so bummed.
Ah yes, it took so long to load on Funimation that by the time I ended up having time to watch it, Episode 4 was already out.
Anyway, Shimamura is kinda relatable in that regard. Doing things that drain her just because being alone sucks even more. I really hope it's not so one-sided, or at least doesn't stay so one-sided. I also hope for the childhood friends to be a thing. The alien seems lit and I want lore.

This episode was pretty precious. The ending of the last one really had me worked but then they bonded really well in this one. The little alien freaking out the little sister was a strange turn of events. I really think the alien has a thing for Shimamura. But the whole sauna challenge? That was pretty awesome of her to stand up to Adachi’s mom like that. And then they bonded over karaoke and the moment in the park—totally sweet. It still feels like they might not be on the same page exactly but the song makes it seem otherwise... I guess we’ll see.
If Adachi is the last name, then what's Adachi's first name? What's Shimamura's first name? And yes, Shimamura standing up to the Mom was lit (lady asked to speak to the manager of Shimamura and Shimamura was like "What does it matter?", wish I knew such a tactic when I was younger). The Mom even decided to start trying a little bit, though her working a lot does explain why we never see anyone at Adachi's house. And yes, karaoke and park,,, I think Shimamura is falling a bit for Adachi, though not as much as Adachi has fallen for her yet.
