Series You Forgot to Finish

This thread is mainly for me, because I am TERRIBLE with finishing anime and I really need to catch up... Post a list of the series you started, really liked, but haven't got around to finishing yet! Maybe someone will come in and inspire you to get through it... Anyway, here's my embarassingly long list of shows I started but haven't finished: Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) - I have about 8 episodes left, I think We Never Learn - I think I'm halfway through season 1? Sarazanmai - I watched to the end of Episode 2. It was very wacky and I really enjoyed it, but I just haven't gotten to finishing it Fire Force - I think I watched 2 episodes? I can't even remember now : Hunter x Hunter - I'm about halfway through but the arc I'm on has started very slowly and I can't motivate myself to watch it Hajime no Ippo - I just finished the first arc and I loved it Great Pretender - I've seen 3 episodes and I thought it was very cool God of High School - Same again, 3 episodes and I just forgot it existed hahaha Evangelion - I watched the first two episodes in like, 2017 and never got around to finishing. I'll probably have to rewatch from the start. Oregairu - I watched s3e1, realised I forgot what happened previously and decided I had to rewatch so I remembered. The downside of waiting 3 or 4 years for a show to release a new season...

Need to check MAL because obviously I "forgot" : Digimon Adventure 2020: I didn't necessarily forget, it was postponed due to corona after a few episodes and I barely watched any of it since it started airing again. I watched 5 episodes but I should probably continue it at some point. Enen no Shouboutai (Fire Force): I watched 6 episodes of that one but I keep forgetting to continue it and whenever I do remember I just don't feel like watching it. Yesterday wo Utatte: I watched 2 episodes of that one but I can barely remember what happened in that anime : Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens: I watched 8 episodes but for some reason I just never finished it. And now I can't be bothered adding a descriptions anymore because it's basically the same for everything so here's a list of anime that are rotting away in my on hold list: Sailor Moon Crystal (3/26) Black Cat (10/23) Dantalian no Shoka (2/12) Golden Kamuy (4/12) Hachimitsu no Clover (2/24) Hello! Kiniro Mosaic (1/12) Higurashi (10/26) Kyoukai no Rinne (7/25) Mahouka Koukou no Rettousai (8/26) I should probably move that to my dropped list because I didn't enjoy it anyway. >Chimera Ant Ahhhh fair enough. That was the only arc that felt a bit dragged for me. It's bingable though! And after that, the familiar Hunter x Hunter feel returns, imo.

Ohhooo this thread exists!!!!!!!!!!!! In my case, there aren't any show I "forgot" to finish because I usually drop most of the ones I didn't enjoy. However, there are some shows that I am putting off. Gankutsuou (7/24) Enen no Shoubutai (2/24) Mahoutsukai no Yome (5/24) These have been on my currently watching list, for like, years... > Enen no Shouboutai (Fire Force): I watched 6 episodes of that one but I keep forgetting to continue it and whenever I do remember I just don't feel like watching it. Sameeeee. Only, I got stuck after only 2 episodes just like Maruko-san xD BBut Black Cat and Psycho Pass are very exciting! Maybe you can give them another try? I especially love Black Cat. A childhood love. Also, Mawaru Penguindrum is a very profound anime. The ending left me a bit confused but I am quite glad that I watched it.

For Psycho Pass it's because I was watching with my boyfriend and we just never continued >.< I think if I had watched on my own I would have finished it. As for Black Cat I think I started that one with german dub so that's probably why I never finished it : Also you should definitely finish Mahoutsukai no Yome!!! It's amazing 😍

But I don't remember why I stopped watching xD (probably because the concept of becoming a bride of someone right off the bat didn't quite settle with me but that's not the only thing...)

I still haven’t finished: SYMPHOgear (seasons 4 and 5 are unwatched) Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time (it was really annoying so I stopped watching it) Boruto (I got behind and haven’t caught up) Space Dandy (I got distracted and didn’t get back to it) Great Pretender (the streaming got interrupted due to people’s schedules but I’m gonna finish it on my own) Neon Genesis Evangelion (watched one episode on a date, ended up umm indisposed and never got back to it) Uchuu Senkan Tiramisu (Funimation was acting up and I never got back to it) Orange (watched one episode then wasn’t in the mood/got distracted) A Certain Scientific Railgun (watched the first two seasons and didn’t know there were more until recently) Overlord (didn’t see season 2) Date A Live (didn’t see most recent season)

It's not that I forgot to finish these, but I just wasn't into watching Darker Than Black and The Disastrous Life of Saiki K I literally only watched a few episodes of them and I didn't think they will be interesting for me to continue

We have a thread on voice actors somewhere around here. You can see our reactions there. We're always shocked out of our mind xD
