Aah, sorry for being so late..
Nice! The story is worth its own thread
The best part would be probably when Rei invented the lightning signal, that switched on everytime the station was above Japan. It was interesting, how the story showed Chrome's got the message Rei sended through the singals, but doesn't understand it yet. Senku did catch it too, but didn't belive after thousands of years it's sth possible, so it's still waiting to be discovered in his case And Byakuya in his final moments probably did manage to notice it in the reflection in the end, aaah, that was very heart breaking moment T.T
Rei is such a hardworking robot, remarkable, Byakuya would be proud <3 Can't wait, when Senku meets Rei :)
No worries, and yes it is such a great story despite being so short!
Yes, I think the side story shows Byakuya seeing a light reflection that is not the sun or moon right before he passes. I am remembering this because it makes the smile on his face all that more meaningful: he not only trusts 100% in Senku but he also is happy about Rei being safe and still worrying about him.
The Chrome part was huge because all the characters were still 100% dependent on Senku. This implies Chrome will be one of the potential six people to go to space (3 on Senku's side and 3 from Xeno's side). And the moment that Senku and Chrome realize the message they saw is from Rei...that's going to be the best chain reaction of emotional events in the entire series for me (since this leads to the main Byakuya and Senku connection and emotional cascade). So I really, really hope that this encounter happens at the very end of the series (after Why-man is defeated). Xeno being their takes away from the moment for me, so only Senku's group fits the best.
Ah, I completely forgot which country. Do you remember the one panel on a Middle Eastern country? That's probably the part of the side story that affects the main plot the most.
